Hey guys, not sure if anyone one else hated veging in one room and then spreading out once clicked. I did so after many years in commercial grows here is my simple solution....and all you need is one extra timer!
most of my rooms where 12 flips 12x24-30 abouts so i usualy had 2 timers,one going to each set of six ballasts. and a single timer running the flip. hopefully you or your electricial labeled your wires or this will be harder...
first step is divide your lights(at the relay) either in sets or a zig zag (my rooms are 2 rows,i use sets) so when only half are on the light is somewhat even(doesnt matter too much but looks better) you leave one set of six wire to the existing timer, then wire the second set to your new timer.
now comes the fun, set one timer for 12-12 and the second to 6-6 and viola, the rooms are both 18hr cycle, 6hrs of timer 1 followed by 6hrs of both, then set one turns on it the other room and the second set is on for 6 hrs(all the lights cycle so thats why stagger isn't toooo important)then the room 1 sleeps while room 2 gets its six hrs of full light.
