If you have the chance, experience the amazing comfort of a pair of fleece socks. That is all.

What happens if your feet get sweaty. Fleece doesn't absorb moisture. Just a thought, although you probably aren't exercising or anything in them.

I cave a cpl pairs of fleece socks they are ok if your just sitting on the couch, but as soon as I move the damn things come off your feet.

my fav socks are heavy knit wool socks...I have about a dozen pairs of these, and a cpl that are similiar but w/ a leather sole.....def. the most comfortable socks in the world:

I can't wait to do that. YEAH! Didn't even think of using the hotpacks for times like that. That's usually what only gets really cold, too, are your feet, in those situations. Rock on for that good suggestion :rasta: , thanks

And yeah, we'll see what happens with these in terms of sweat when we hike mt. katahdin (second highest in the northeast i think!?) this weekend. :headbange

SmartWool is th only way to go.

I agree! SmartWool socks are the shiznit! Speaking of which, I need some new ones. I should own more than I do considering I work at REI.

Anyone ever wear toe socks? I got a pair I wear from time to time. Weird at first but I kinda like em
