Hello icmag community,

I am a first time grower and new to international cannagraphic. I would gladly accept some advice on how my plants are going after 2 months of growth. I am also wondering about a few weird spots on some of my leaves. Pics below

Much appreciated

Thanks all.

if those spots spread I would add some calmag to your watering regime. What are you feeding? They look great really nice.

Welcome to ICmag Bro!

looking perfect for 2 mths , my advice is LESS IS BEST . its easy to get carried away caring for your kids . always want to tinker with them or feed them something . reframe from it .

we are all guilty of it , if you can manage the compulsion you,ll do better .

(1) i,d prob get a higher NPK rating fertiliser theres lots of veg and bloom ones on the market there marked pretty clearly , don't need anything fancy follow the instrutions on the bottle .

(2) i wouldn't worry about the small imperfections you have pointed out there outside plants . time for much bigger pots better drainage holes , more roots more fruits......qaulity soil mix not some home brand cheap crap .

good luck keep us updated, oh just saw your in nz , they must be thinking about budding soon .they are going to want to go for there last stretch , get some hussle on my suggestions . that is no where near enough potassium (k) for budding .

Dude those plants are beautiful. Practically flawless. Whatever you're doing, keep doing it. What kinda dirt you got there? That fertilizer has my attention too.

The pots have about 30L of soil each ive added more to the smaller plant as the pots are 42L. I have about 20-30 9mm holes in the bottom of the pot and about another 15 10mm holes around the sides of the pot about 1 inch up from the bottom. I have a half potting mix and half compost mix in all of them. I wish i had bought perlite and coco mix tho.. I got the seeds from seedsman.com i got the cheapest white widow and the cheapest candy cream both fem seeds around 8 euro's each. And really budding soon? We've had a late summer here in New Zealand this year....

mate , you don't add soil like that , you re pot them . you don't top the soil up . and yes budding soon . your march , april at the latest . finished done all over . prob sooner with the strains you chose more like end of feb just after .

if you look at them really closely you should have very fine white hairs where the main shade leaf leaves the stem . i hope you bought fem seeds . read my post above again google repotting plants and buy better fert , good luck mate . everyone starts somewhere and learn as they go

prob go organic soil mix next year rather than coco& perlite for outdoor or pots .

don't give up though . feed them is all . they will provide for you . get a good bloom fertiliser . don't over water . let them nearly dry out before you give them a drink again. jan , feb will be your most vigour-is grow time , i,d repot them . they will take off even more . they may double in size yet while flowering at the same time .

they can stay in those pots if need be , but they will use more water , more they grow more they will require . root bound plants won't do as well as free flowing roots .

you can google any info you need , nz cannabis flower season , growing cannabis in nz . sure theres heaps of things . let your fingers do the google .

signing out here , enjoy . you,ll learn as you go . its a good first grow
