first time

hi everybody this is my first time at growing so any input would be great,i have got 2 skunk,2durban poison,2 kush,the kush as not really got going yet so im just going to let them grow and see how big i can get them the others seem to be doing well,they are all in a good mix of soil and they are under a 400w light,the pots are 10ins deep,the temperature is at78 to 80 deg the skunk are 6ins tall and the durban are 8ins tall when do i start to put them under a 12hr light they are at the moment on a 18hr light also when and how much do i start to feed them cheers

Lookin good Bolan they sure are bushy, try giving the kush a mild feed and see how they go as with the bushy ones start feeding them evry other watering with a mild feed they should realy take off under that 400 w light, keep us posted. By the way which feed did u get in the end??? also make sure that ur waters ph is around 6.5, i keep mine at that with hydro nutes in soil and im gettin great results...peace

cheers mate i got ionic the man at the shop said it was good and i think theres another ionic for bloom im going to put the lights at 18ins now are the pots ok cheers

well as you can see they are a bit sunburnt do i have to throw them away i lowered the light to close what a prat i am,

No, don't throw them away! Move the light up, put your hand under it-palm down. If it starts to get too hot for you after 20 seconds, then it's too hot for your babies. You've got too be careful with high wattage lights. I personally veg under fluoro shoplites.

Nice looking buds you have there Bolan.... Congrats....

I look at my trichomes to see if the buds are done or not. About 25 to 50% amber colour is when I harvest, but everybody has different tastes. I can't see from your pictures where you are at yet...

nothing like smoking your own home grown!
