Hey everyone, this is something i've wanted to do for awhile and im thinking about growing a plant outside this year. my question is i want to do it outdoors but the spot i have in mind i dont always have access to, there is a pond in the location could i plant my seed near the edge of the pond and would the plant grow that way? i wouldnt always be there to water it so this is why i am asking any input would be helpful thank you =]

Yeah, I didn't think of that haha. well anyway i have a new spot in mind which is better, cant wait to start them weather just needs to get better.

You'll need to grow more than one plant if you wish to greatly increase your chances of yielding anything. A pack containing ten regular seeds would typically produce 4-6 females, which is a reasonable number to start with, considering the fact that some may be lost to predators or disease.

You can dust some mycorrhizal fungi onto the roots when transplanting them into their holes, to improve water acquisition and retention. If the soil is sandy or rocky, then add plenty of organic matter to the soil. You can also add some water retaining crystals, as well as a thick mulch on top of the soil to increase moisture retention. For further ideas, you may like to read the thread below:

Thanks for the info gunna yield wasnt a huge concern i mean i was going to try more than one seed in case that one came out male, thatd be a waste of my time haha i was gonna start 6 seeds I have a lot of seeds ive found in my bud, the healthiest looking ones ive saved i think theyre all afghani seeds but maybe some diesel in there too.
