Hello,

This is my first time growing marijuana, and I would to know what do I need to start? I want to start with one plant for now.

What type of soil?
light = wattage?
food?
quantity of water a day?
best seed?

I have a room available 10x10x12.

Thank you guys.

There are hundreds of possibilities, you really need to do some reading.

If I were you....
Soil- No soil, go for coco coir
Light- At least a 600 watt
Nutes- GH flora series, micro and bloom
Watering frequency- daily with a small amount of runoff
Seeds- IDK? If I were to buy another pack right now I would try for sour diesel from rez because I lost my SDv3 moms and I loved the high and smell.

Why only one plant? If I were only running one light I would like to put about 9 plants under it. With only one plant you are going to have to veg and train it well.

If I were you I would actually throw at least 4kw in that room.

Anyways, no one is going to help you out much in this thread because it is way too vague and there are thousands of possibilities.

Good luck, take the jump you will be glad you did.

Thousands of possibilities. Sounds like you don't know where to start, so start by reading as much as you can. There's thousands of cannabis growing books and guides on the internet for free, there are even movies that show everything you need to know.

Then when you are ready to start and know what your doing, the very first thing you need to do is decide what your budget is going to be. Less than 1,000$ or less than 500$ whatever

Light
to be a beginner and starting with one plant, I'd look at a 400watt hps for flowering and a few fluro's or cfl's for seedling and early veg

Food
Search the K.I.S.S method on these forums. Maxibloom gets alot of praise and it's simple compared to regimens of dozens of different products, but again thousands of possibilites...

This being your first time, stick to soil.
