First time problems

here's the full view.

It started on the bottom, so we'll start there.
the left side is much worse than the right. the right mainly only has the color changed.

now, moving one leaf up:
this is the first one that was affected.

close up on the front of the same leaf:

close up of the back of the same leaf:

now we move to the leaf above that one..which looks kinda different.

Anyone know? I'm thinking either nute burn or light/heat problems. My other two haven't reacted this way and I have been giving them the same light intensity and the same amount of nutes (not a lot, only like 3 times total and i'm 3-4 weeks in)

how do i fix her :badday:

looks like a burn 2 me...how close woz the lamp at the time...on the fist pic the smaller leave is sticking out next 2 the big spot thats why i think its a burn...:2cents:

and the first set of leaves is hard 2 keep healthy...you need 2 have some rotation (experience)before you can keep them first set of leaves on there for a while....its quite normal..atleast for me :biglaugh:

I keep the lamp at an average of 2ft away from the plants. It's a 400w system with only a few cooling techniques, so I don't want to attempt any closer, for their sake.

I've been using Fox Farm nutrients, but very little. I've only mixed the nutrients with the water about 4 or 5 waterings, max. I put a very small amount compared to what they tell you to start out with, like everyone says.
But I still think this seems like it could definitely be because of it. I've looked up pictures and the "burning" on the ends of the leaves really seems like it.

So I'm 90% sure it's nute burn from all the pics I've looked at, unless someone experienced says otherwise.
-------------------------

I will try to get pictures later, but this stuff is slowly moving up the leaves. It is now on the leaves on the same level as I'm showing, but on the opposite side. They don't have big spots like these ones do yet, but almost all of the 'ends' of the leaves are a burning yellow color.
Soon it'll probably move up to the next level...I dunno.

I know those first leaves are sorta "meant" to fall off for most people...someone told me it's like their baby fat. But I'm pretty sure the rest of them aren't supposed to be doing this.

I've put them solely on a water diet for the next few weeks, is there anything else I should do? :badday:

yea do raise the light a bit and check your soils ph.... most important when somethings go wrong....but it does't look like nute burn 2 me...but if it spreads then there must be something wrong...maybe you should add some more pics if it get worse ...some other peeps will chime in ...

Some plain PH'd water... 6.3-6.5 NO NUTES until that girl is rockin.... FF has nutes in it.. plus u have given ferts... so just PH water for at least a week... I'd say TWO weeks.. Let that plant start growing noticably everyday or two before thinking about ferting again..FWIW

Peace

Thanks for all the helpful replies. :)

I have been feeding them just water, and they are already showing improvments.

The "burn" is still moving up throughout the leaves, but the parts that were REALLY bad are starting to heal, so I know it's improving...it'll just take a little bit of time to get back to normal.

Again, thanks for all the replies.

peace
