First time growing outdoors, couple Q's

Been growing indoors for a few years now, finally got a place to grow outside this year at 39*N. I plan on growing in 65 gal smart pots. I'm going to get the soil tested this spring and I'm hoping to pull at least 2# a plant.

1. When should I crack my seeds? I've heard that I should put everything out on June 1st

2. When should I take cuttings from my mother? Ive heard that I won't need to worry about early flowering if I wait til June 1st again

3. How much space should I have between my plants?

Any other inputs, tips, ect would be appreciated

39 is an awful big circle.

If your going to put plants in ground June 1,
Plant as early as you feel like it. But don't keep your plants in such a small space they're doing laps around the container before your ready to transplant.
The roots that is.

I'll be at low elevation in CA. What size pot do you think I should start in? I'm used to doing hydro. I've got 4600 watts to veg everything out in right now so that won't be a problem. How big should my plants be on June 1st?

You've got a hell of a lot more space than me for veg.

I would start seeds now so you can have your plant selections well out of the way by transplant time.

Container size depends on number of plants expected to go out & veg medium & prob a couple other factors. I couldn't say for your particular situation. I'm under 400W for a while so planning on more, smaller plants.

Oh yeah... just guessing here, buuuuut...

you probably have the potential to be able to put out plants in the 7-10 gallon container size if ya up pot as often as the plants would like.

What yeilds should I expect from sativa and some indica in coco coir medium in 30litre pots?

June 1st is probbably fine, that's plenty of time to veg, make sure you choose a spot that has direct sunlight for most of the day.
