Could be nute splash, i always get that on seedlings and i've always presumed that what it was.
Could be nothing dude, i wouldn't worry mate, as long as new growth is alright!

look for larva on the other side of the leafs and if you see that and or little bugs its probably thrips. The initial damage they do looks a lot like nute splash. Spinosad foliar takes care of them.
