I am going to pull the trigger on 1 315 watt cmh light I really could use some advice on what I'm going to need for odor temp and humidity control. Basically just a punch list right now would help a lot .
Thanks

Just the usual things, 400 cfm fan and filter, fan controller, several thermometers for canopy, ground, lung room. With winter coming you'll probably need a humidifier (Ideally one that you can set desired humidity). Temp control will really depend on temps of your space. A single 315 will put out a little heat but not much. If you're growing in a sealed room you may want to consider co2 supplementation. Extra fans for room circulation.

Could you recommend a good 6 inch fan with filter combo looking to just grab something off amazon since I don't have a hydroponic store in my area

Most of the fan filter combos on amazon are pretty generic. I don't think you'll find a whole lot of difference between them. If I had to choose one from amazon I'd go with whichever has the best customer rating. You should also get a fan speed controller. They are very loud without one and you probably won't need all 400 cfm's for that light. It will also extend your filter life.

Most of those will work alright for a run or 2 but they're kinda cheap. After a while the fan will usually start to get louder and the filter will start to fail. If all you need it for is a run or 2 it should be fine. If you are looking for something with more durability and better quality, go to ebay and get a Vortex inline fan. It's quieter when using a fan speed controller. All other brands I've used so far tend to buzz when you dial the speed down which is bad if you need stealth.

Most filters seem to work fairly well. I use a 600+ cfm growbright filter with my 400 cfm Vortex. An oversized filter will last longer and in late flower gives extra peace of mind. I've had 400cfm filters letting smell through in late flower with the fan on full power. But then again I have some extremely stinky strains.Being in an unfriendly state, odor control is not something I skimp on.

Edit- I see amazon has the vortex fan as well.

Yes indeed better safe than sorry. Thanks for your response after sitting an trying to figure out everything I'm going to need I believe it would be simpler to just get a 3x3 tent package minus the light since I just ordered a 315 watt cmh . I am not as worried about noisy fans as much as the odor problem and equipment failure. Cost is always an issue however I can imagine the problems of buying total crap. Do you have any suggestions on a decent tent package ?
