first time grow looking to grow an easy but potent strain

hi,

I have grown once before but my crop got destroyed before it was finished.

So I want to try again, but this time with really good seeds. I was looking to grow a strain that is both easy to grow for a first timer and also really good quality.

I was thinking of growing a few white widows from seed, would this be a good choice? I would like to grow it out so it looks like the pictures on the website. I've never had marijuana like that. And I am a medical patient and unfortunately by caregiver does not do "custom-grows", so I would like to become my own caregiver and grow maybe just two plants for personal health issues. I was hoping that white widow would be a good choice.

thanks and have a good day

You are going to get many opinions on this.

I started out on NL5. I also liked Crystal and it is White Widow back crossed to NLs. I would look for fast flowering, short in structure indica dominant strains. They are typically the easiest to manage.

Lots of choices out there but I would stick to fast short plants to begin with.

Indoor or Outdoors?
Do you prefer Heavy couch lock type high or energetic or mind numbing or clear or any combo thereof or something different even?

thanks for the replies.

would an autoflower then be a good choice for a first time indoor grower with limited space? I would be using a simple 6500K CFL with a reflective hood for growing, hopefully that would be enough for one regular plant, or two autoflowering plants?

edit: I have really good seeds of strain I wanted to grow, but don't know if it would flourish in this situation? ok thanks and have a good day

One I had outdoors that was very easy to grow, vigorous, and a good yielder was Hemlock (Durban X LA confidential) from Reserva Privada CO. This strain doesn't get a lot of writeup but this is a strain that made this hack feel like a master grower. A hint of spice in the flavor and a solid stone leaning slightly to the indica-dominant side. Golf ball sized and healthy buds with little maintenance.

Your going to need to drop some Coin for a 400w Switchable ballast at a minimum. Cfl will last about 4 weeks from seed, then you need to transplant into larger container and more light. Real deal White widow is potent, but Usually the Smell is over the Moon...very fucking Smelly!! Too grow the kill bud..your going to need 3 Lights eventually...Cfl/T-5, metal halide, then 1000w Hps for Flowering. I know many peeps that Skip pieces of the lighting Scheme.. In the end, it shows in reduced yield, and poor potency. Go buy proper lighting and get growing! I would recommend Atomic Nl/bb or any Cindy 99, both are hassle free grows, low odor, great Efects!!

Highrise Seeds Fire99 was a easy to grow variety. Most had a bit of stretch though.

I found autoflowers harder to grow than regular photoperiod varieties because they were soo easy to stunt.

autoflower is usually crossed with ruderalis.... not very potent cannabis... I'd stick with a fast finishing indica dom strain....
