First time cooking with MJ.. -I will be using trimmings

I have the s***y popcorn nugs, sugary leaves, stems, fanleaves ect from 5 harvested plants. I harvested about a week ago and the leaves are pretty dry. Does the THC need to cure if I am cooking it or can I cook with it soon? Can I cook the butter with a slow cooker? I plan on using just enough butter to cover the trim, (however much that takes) how many parts water should I add once the trim is covered? Once the butter is cooked, do I cook with it following "normal" baking instructions? what are the max temperatures? thanks

no need to cure. the more water you add the better, but you need a bigger container to let the butter and water seperate. slow cookers work great its how i do it. i just follow recipe temps but others can chime in on their thoughts. i aint a pro but made lots of edibles. some also reccomend soaking weed in water and let it soak. the pour off most water add more and repeat as many times as ya want. it makes for a cleaner butter.
