First soil grow. What strategy for best yield?

I've got a grow room (8x4x7) with two 600 watt lights in horizontal air cooled hoods . I've got 9 white widow seeds and 5 seeds of a pure indica and two bag seeds . What strategy would you folks recommend for the best yield growing in promix bx?

keep the plants happy the whole time. Don't miss a beat. This is even more so important with feeding in promix cause there is nothing in it.

With a usable footprint of 32ft^2 and only 16 plants, half of which in expectation are males, you are going to want to veg for awhile and/or train horizontally to fill the canopy.

I would recommend growing them out (vegging) until they can be sexed and then vegging the females additional time to fill out the space. Once you know how many female plants you have it will be easier to determine the proper veg length and final pot size.

There is a promix (had to edit, phone auto-edited that as promise) thread in here where ppl were saying it comes fairly hot out of the bag...may have been bx though.
