First post. Help with diagnosing leaf damage.

I'm growing two plants: (1 querkle and 1 critical mass) for the first time in many years and I got two established plans from a friend and have transplanted them into 30 gallon pots with HF and earthworm castings blood and bone meal and a little lime.
This morning I noticed a fair amount of leaf damage on the CM plant's bigger leaves and I wonder if someone can help diagnose what is causing this problem. I have really been enjoying the stickies, learning about soil mixes and reading different things in the forums.
thanks for being such a great community.

I'm looking at this on my iPhone the pic comes up small, but from what I can see it looks like something took a bite out of the big fan leaf, and I noticed some of the tips are burned, and the new growth looks burned from the tips in . To me I would think nutes than check ph of the water your using, I'm taking a guess I'm a hydro man, but that's where I would start

Thanks for your input Scrappy-do and windycitysmoker. The friend I got the plants from thinks the breaks in the leaves are from a neem treatment. I am getting a pH meter in the mail today, so I will be able to dial that in.

Yeah I know blood and bone meal can alter ph so usually you need enough lime to balance it. Not sure how much you put in there.
