well i have 9 plants going right now in my closet and i'm wondering if i can when they reach 12" or so put them outdoors to flower? is it too late to do this? outdoor growing is very new to me, any advice i can get would be excelent. i've read on here about revegging, put the plants out around now i think to flower with a slightly small yield, harvesting the buds and than revegging and than getting a big yield. will i be able to do this? thanks alot everybody for any help you can give me.

You dont put your plants outside to flower. You can leave them right in your closet. And only give them light for 12 hours, Then no light for 12 hours.. And that will have them on their way to flowering.. Putting them outside will keep them growing. Unless they are given 12/12 of light and dark outisde as well.. Hope this helps some. peace..

Well it all depends on where you are. If you are in a location where the light cycle is on it's late summer, early fall schedule (such as Aussie) then you can. As for revegging, I have no idea how that could work.
My advice would be to force a little more patience with your grow, allow a lot more vegging and then b4 flowering, take some clones for your future grow. One thing I do know is that flowering 'saps' a plant, revegging may be something pro's do for kicks, but I cant see any real value in doing it when with proper pruning and TLC, a plants flowering cycle will produce great results and high yields.

sackoweed, lol yeah i know the plants have to be in 12/12 to flower, this is my second grow. thanks though

right now the light cycle outside is about 15/9 i dunno if this is enough to induce flowering, i'm looking to flowering outside due to lack of light in my closet for a good yield.

thanks again everybody

I dont think it will induce flowering at 15/9.. Your going to need to cover
them. But then again i might be wrong.. cos right now my girls are getting around the same as yours and they are deifnately not flowering or starting to. Sorry Id wait till one of the people who know there pooh comes by.. peace..

thanks sackoweed, i think even if the light cycle won't induce flowering once i sex my plants in acouple weeks i'm going to put all of the females outside except for one, that is if i even get one or more than one. and just keep the 1 female indoors so i will get somekind harvest to try to last me until the outdoor grow finishes which won't be until october. but hopefully the yield will be massive from the outdoor grow because they will be vegging for a good 2 or 3 months before flower. so i will be looking forward to that

alright well i've decided that in acouple weeks i'm going to be bringing the plants outside. i was wondering if it would be a bad idea to force the sex before than so i can weed out the males before bringing them to the grow spot. i know i've read that this is bad for the plant just wondering what you guys think. i'm also trying to find some batterys so i can take a pic of the babies for yeah, hopefully i'll get some tomorrow. my pops is gonna be helpin me out with this grow, he is a old skool stoner, grown outdoor acouple times. i was also wondering what kind of yeild i might be looking at say that i end up with 3 females and i put them out by the end of may? i've been searching but i can't find alot of threads with people harvesting there outdoor grows.

peace out ppl and smoke another

Thats what I would do , put them on a 12/12 and then once the females show stick them out and don't forget to keep the heartiest male aside for a little pollen. Then you can make your own beans.

Free them! put em either in large (min 5Gal) containers half burried--- you wont believe the growth rate you'll get out of a 22gal trash can with the right mix; or well prepared, deeply dug soil. Some times they'll stall out if they are already in flower but usually they take right off if you either dig or layer the soil right. Yes, you can get a mini yield of small spring buds but I prefer that they haul ass, then start to flower in late july out here in the west. With the right nute and no burn and no premature flowering you can get one inch a day growth during outdoor veg(untopped). Better than that with a thick mulch, water crystals, and e.b.stone or martha stewart (we love tough chicks) organic bulb food (bury it deep and let the roots grow into it). Let's cover the planet with this sacred plant!

Wait, let me add to that: These organic bulb foods are pelletized and contain chicken feathers and bone meal. Raccoons, possums, polecats, skunks, coati mundis, wombats and other such customers will smell this and try to dig up a meal; ruining your masterpiece. The work around: sprinkle all over the surface lightly so the little dudes will learn that this isnt food for them and you will have no problem. We have had the same problem with fish emulsion and peat pots ( quit using them years ago for this reason-- coons dig em up and the roots dry out here in droughtville). Protect against deer, rabbit, rats and scumbags. Our least favorite is rats. The european imports are worse by far than the native wood rat and kangaroo rat but any of em will clean you out and rip ya off. Norway ship rats will climb your christmas tree up to the big ass cola (to use their body weight) while their pals gnaw through the base to take it down. The first night they eat the cola. They bake hard. Next night they get the prime bud. Next night they get the leaves. Later, they strip the bark off and line their nest with the fibers!!! Death to them all! Please dont poison; it seriously gets into the food chain and desecrates the ancient, sacred forest. Either grow in wire cages or trap. Use peanut butter on standard traps; at least 2 or 3 of them. Dont leave your prints on the trap! Raccoons, dogs, and especially coyotes will usually get the dead rat before you do so drill a hole through the wood and tether it to the base of a bush where songbirds are unlikly to land (never killed a songbird but have heard of it). If you dont tether, coyotes will run off to eat the rat out of the trap and you may have to do some tracking to get your trap back. Success is shown by the pressence of fine grey hairs under the kill bar and all the peanut butter licked of by the dead rat's buddies. I always top severely to camo from psycho-porkers in helicopters---you dont get fat cola but you attain the holy chunk. Have fun and wear a bright orange tee shirt till you get close--then switch to camo . Real tree or mossy oak pattern works real purdy out here in the west. Never wear camo in public, especially around leo; put on your yellow, red or orange shirt after you leave.Don't look freaked or overly straight and dont leave whole footprints in the patch-- only partials and scuffmarks. Also, wear a camo hat, mainly to break up the shape of your head. It also reduces the shine off your face- regardless of your skin "colour". See a copter? Kneel on one leg, look at the ground and tuck your arms under your chest. The hat and shirt will cover your bluejeans and face, they'll get no reflection if you wear shades or glasses, and kneeling turns your shape into that of a small bolder. God I love this hobby.

thanks for the advice everybody, well i am feeling rather ill and have been bed bound the past couple of days, but today i had my pops go out and plant the 2 biggests plants i had in order to have room under the shoplight for more plants. He planted them in a old corn field and he says that the soil is really nice. I'm gonna keep the rest of the plants i have (seven of them) until they are about 10 inches or so, and than sex them out. I plan on growing all of them out to be bushes. I don't plan on keeping any males because for next season i plan on purchasing some nirvana seeds, maybe durban poison and ak-48. I'm not sure though whats gonna happen for next season though because we might move out west to cali where my dad will be able to get a doctors note so we will be able to grow indoors legally. Not too sure about that yet but i have my fingers crossed.

my dad did tell me that there were deer tracks in the field so next time we go to check on the plants i plan on bringing a bar of soap and putting chunks around the plants, also mark my terratory with some yellow nector to try to keep critters away. also maybe put hair all over the place keep the human scent around to keep my babys from gettin gobbled up.

I'm in CT and it sucks because its hard to find anywhere that isn't full of people, theres hardly emtpy places. i think i might have a good spot to put the rest of the babys when they are ready.

o yeah the plants that where planted today where put directly into the ground.

does anyone think they could give me a guesstimate as to what kind of yield i should be looking at say i get 4 females and let them all go full season? hopefully get nice and huge?

peace and bud

well i checked the two babys outside today, they both are looking really nice but my dad planted them in spots with too much shade, so i moved one to a really good hidden spot thats right in the sun. I'm still trying to find a better spot for the other one, i might end up putting it with the other one.they're doing really well outside, they didn't seem to experience any shock whatsover, and last night it got to freezing out here. I'm not sure if i want to top them because i really want em to be girls and don't wanna stress them. i'm thinking of trying to lst em. i just don't know if i'm gonna be able to do it proparly because i won't be able to see them everday, i can only check em once or twice a week. any suggestions on how i should do this?

lol i'm sorry if i ramble on at all, just smoked a nice lil cigarette size blunt of some really nice indoors, i'm not sure what the strain is but i'm actually wishing that it had seeds in it. ha i think i'm really am a grow junkie when i wish i had seeds in my stash. and i dunno if you guys know about kottonmouth kings, but they are a awesome ass band, and i'm watchin one of their movies, and its sick, it shows a clip of em in amsterdam and they show some bangin nugz and plants. and it shows there grow rooms and clone chambers and greenhouses. nugz hangin out to dry and shit. they go around rappin and get payed for it and grow mad weed and just travel the country and the world. its some crazy shit

holy shit i'm so glad i still got like .6 left and a roach. :joint:

yeah thats what the problem is with my plot cuz i can't check up on it all the time. i'm thinking about finding a corn field and puttin some babys in there and i've read they grow really nice.

pretty stoned,

well last nice there was a catastrafy(sorry can't spell), i was lowering my light and i had the shoplight help up on twine, well the god damn twine broke and the shoplight fell on to all the plants and one of the fuckin bulbs broke and it was crazy. well after i cleaned it all out all the plants were fine and cleaned everything all nice. went out and got a new flourecent tube. i think it was the natural sunlight one, either that or the indoor plant one or suntin like that.

peace out and smoke a bowl

no coati s in california. unless someone let em go there. The corn field idea works but has been used for so long in places like iowa, indiana, missouri and arkansas that leo is way seriously on to it. In indiana, they fly over the corn looking for a different crop interplanted. Used to subscribe to a rural newspaper from mississippi. Every other week in summer the front page had a big fat bubba-class porker busting another corn field. These guys were woikin! Lester wouldn't try it; out here in the west.
Was in Iowa last year and saw so many patches of ditch-weed sativa, growing from 2-7' (this was in early july) ,that it made me think you could hide some actual strong plants in the middle of it. Guess you'd have to find a patch that wont get plowed or cut out but from the road we were seeing thousands upon thousands of useless sativa plants! Did'nt some one claim that you can make a plant illegal? Whats next? We make non-monsanto wheat illegal?

well i think i'm long past due for an update.

checked on my babys today, had been a few weeks since the last time i had seen them. was very pleased to see i had 2 stunningly amazing ladys and 2 other males. The 2 females where the ones in the bigger pots. they're both a bit over 3ft tall, one of them i think might be at 4ft. looking gorgeous. i was very pleased to see the lil hairs poking out, being they're my first females ever from my grows. Can't wait to see some nuggets formin. I still haven't gotten any damn double a's yet but i will defiantly be picking up some batteries so i can snap a pic.

i did have a little scarry experience, after walking back from tending to my babys there was a chopper just hovering a bit aways. he than flew around a bit, flashed me and my pops with his spotlight(it was light out) and continued to fly around. i'm pretty possitive he didn't see the plant or anything almost possitive he was just looking for somebody. was very scarry though and i'm gonna be keeping my out.

also i was wondering how much more they where going to stretch, is it the same as indoors through flower?
