hello!

like i said this is my first indoor cylce, but despite i read a lot of thread, i m not sure about plant's problem.

growbox: 50X60x140(cm)
light: 120 watt led

plants: big bang / hawayan snow (both greenhouse)

pot: 2 x 8l

substrate (15l):
30% organic soil (ph 7)
25% blond peat (ph 3-4)
15% compost (ph 7)
30% zeolite
+
1l powder dolomite
1/2 l bat guano 1-5-1

I used a fertilizer (20-7-10) with all microelements after the first vegetative week, once per week until now.

I used this stuff (soil end fertilizer) for outdoor, and i never had problem!!

today is the 28 day of veg and tath's the situation :
big bang

hawayan

these are the leaves (2 of bb-1 hs)

Leavs necrosis started 3 days ago, i tought it was caused by a phosphorus deficiency. So i watered whit some guano but the necrosis goes on fast!

the ph level should be ok becous i put in there the dolomite that shoud take p level at 7. Today i tried to chek the ph level but i m not sure i have done it corectly!
the ph level of the water was 7-7.5 and after mixing whit soil was 6.5-7! it means ph level is under 7 but how much exactly??
is this problem cosued by ph??
if yes, how can i fix it?? ash work fine??

So you put a bunch of fertilizer in your soil mix, then fertilized them some more?
Those little babies? Were they from seed or clone?
When you say 1l dolomite lime and 1/2l guano did you mean liter?
in just 4 gallons of soil? Are those rocks in there?

I would yank them out of there and pot them up in some unammended potting soil.

the babies are from seed, and they are in 5.5 gallons (sorry i was wrong)! refering to dolomite and guano yes is liter!
so do u think the problem is too much fertilizer??
isn't it to stressful to yank them out?? maybe a flush shud work fine??

Pull em out and pot them up in smaller pots with fresh soil. Nothing in it. I wouldn't go larger then 1 gallon pots till they get some decent roots. Then up size your pots.
Be nice to baby plants. You wouldn't feed a new born a turkey dinner. 1/4 or 1/2 strength nutes for a week. Then up the dose if they look like they can take it.

what did u mean fresh soil??
should i buy a prepared soil?? or i can mix one without guano and compost?

Yes. Go and buy a $10 bag of potting soil. You can't really grow mj with
soil from your yard. Too much clay and rocks and crap. Too dense.

on the subject of adding Dolomite.

to UP pH by one point ... add 1 to 1.5 grammes of Dolomite per litre of soil.

you have added too much! so you are correct in your concerns about pH problems.

Definitely repot with NON amended potting soil. I used an amended potting mix on my seedling and they didn't like it either... and I was using less than half strength Botanicare. Let'em be hungry for a week or two, then sloooowly add nuts.

If you were gardening outdoors, what you've done is the equivalent of making a mix of 50% raw poultry manure (kind of). too hot.

I don't know where to start man but always less is more with ferts until your knowledge allows you to work the elements to their potential. Buy soil ready if your new or use a soil less mix and feed hydroponically (in your water). If the soil is amended I don't feed my clones for two to three weeks depending on rate of growth. They have all they need. The best advice I can give you is to go out and buy a good book on the subject from a respected source and understand everything you are doing to your girls and why. It beats the hell out of trial and error if you don't have a friend or mentor with experience to help you. Good luck man. Your supply shop if it is a specialty store is a good place to tap the experience of many gardeners.

You are over watering too from your pics. Anytime you see fungus on your soil and it's not on a drip or flood and drain you are watering too much. Let the soil dry one half to one inch down. Check by sticking your finger in the dirt. Beats any moisture meter. IMHO. Good luck man.

is not true that 1.5 grammes of dolomite rise up ph of 1!! the dolomite is insoluble in h20 at ph 7, so it wouldn t change ph! it melts only in acid enviroment, bringing ph at 7 and freeing magnesium and calcium!
