I'm not sure of any rules on the format of this thing, but i've decided to post my first HID grow using bag seed I found.
I have 3 plants in all, in a very small closet under a 1000w digilux bulb and a 1000w quantum ballast dimmed down to 50%
(BTW I LOVE these digilux bulbs with the enhanced blue spectrum, and oddly enough when I increase the dimm switch to 75% the spectrum becomes more like it should adding more blues. What is odd about that? Well I just recently learned of experiments being done by adding blue spectrum (about 200w worth) mid flower and getting higher resin production because of it. So it's kinda a win win situation.... although yes I'd proly ratjer just have a 600W at 100% to get a better life span and a more accurate spectrum)
ANYWAY! I started with 7 plants 4 White Widows, and 3 Berry whites. I know the white widow is legit because it came out of a white widow plant a friend of mine grew.
I know the berry white is what it is because it came out of a berry white bud, and even though I didn't know for sure at first..... I'm about 5 weeks into flower now and the smell is unmistakeable. If it doesn't have white genetics in it then I'm Santa clause. (that kinda thing).
And it kinda looks like other white berries from paradise seeds, but I'm not sure.
Like I said, I'm about 5 weeks into flower, but I'm gonna see if I can upload pics I've taken throughout their life cycles.
Now if the math you've seen doesn't add up that's because 2 berry whites were male (scared the poo outta me since i only had the 3 seeds and I thought I was not gonna get ANY females, but I did end up getting one.)
And the white widow, 2 were male 2 female.... So there ya have it... 2 WW's and one BW.
LUCKILY the WW's gave me two different Pheno's as well..... one a more sativa based pheno, and the other has a lot of indica, and it's clear-cut.
Anyway I'm gonna stop typing now and get on this thing with my phone and have some photo's up by tomorrow I think.
