Ok ive been reading for about 12 months and finally decided to get started. I have read a ton, and ive worked for a buddy trimming, but this is gonna be my first attempt to grow on my own.
my equipment so far:
2 600w elect balasts and 2 aircooled hoods
6" carbon scrubber w/tallboy filter
2 homemade DIY ebb n flow tables with a 34gal res. (growing in hydroton)
20 pint dehuy
its in a spare bedroom that has a window that i sealed off with small sheet of plywood. (painted flat black and with window treatments in the window. Even in broad daylight it just looks like a dresser blocking the wondow if you look very close)
the room is finished and is approximatly 10x12 so way too much room. painted flat white. i havent quite figured out easiest way to vent. my home has central ac, and the vent for this room is on the ceiling.
Can i seal this room and run co2? just making sure to run ac or would i need another ac unit in bedroom?
im thinking about making a small area when you first walk in that surrounded with thick 6mil black poly to block the door from any light leakage.
I plan on partitioning the room with a small partition for clones/moms and at first i will just run both lights at the same time, but i may have to devide the room again, and add another res because ultimatly i will want to stagger my harvests.
wondering as a first time grower with alot of knowlage but no hands on experience and with the equipment i have. what strains would give me the best combo of yield and potency. Also any other ideas to help me out would be greatly appreciated.
