First Grow

Ok Im going to start growing and I have some questions. Would it be better if i had a section with 2700k bulbs and 6500k?SO then when the plant is ready to flower i would move it into the other section. I know that the light from one section can not interfere with the dark hours for the flowering buds.OR would it be better to not move it and just have a variety of 6500k and 2700k bulbs? If the 2 sections is better it would also be more efficent. After one plant is growing and ready to flower i can put another plant in the veg section. I am thinking CFL because of the cost. I would say i am willing to spend 40-50 dollers on lights. What are some good 2700ks and 6500ks? Thanks

I am just growing 1 plant and how much would it cost for lights. Imnot sure which way im gonna go now im thinking metal halides for veg and HPS for Flower. How much would the bulbs and ballast and what not cost. I am not very good with hps and ballast i dont really understand them. What else besides MH and HPS bulbs do i need to run the lights?

For HID lights like HPS and MH you need a fan for circulation and squirrel cage or centrifugal fan to vent the hot air created by the light out of your closet, tent, or grow space.

A hook light with 3 splitters will give you 4 CFL's and 26wters would veg your plants nice. I used just one to veg 7 plants in my tent and they even surprised me. And i did an all cfl grow, which turned out well. Just plenty of air as ya need to keep them close so heat can be an issue without a fan, but they work better then some give them credit for.
