get a $10 pocket scope that goes to 100x and check trich color with that. I had a bag seed sativa that i cut at 70 days and it should have gone much longer.

thanks for the replies dont think ive done 2 bad with first grow but could do with a little advice on when 2 chop this baby down . think ive got a fair way to go yet though.

My bagseed plant grew nonstop till 70 days in to flower. I had to bend the top cola at 90 degrees about 5 times to keep it out of the light.
SO i say watch to see if it stops growing up and just use the pocket scope and wait till all the glands are white for a more up high but it might be safer to wait till it's half amber half white.
Side note: your plant doesn't look anything like my monster out of control one. I t looks like it has some indica in it.

Looks like quality herb to me man! Very good job on the grow as well!
To me it looks quite Jack Herer-ish, but of course, it could be something else.
You didn't know what it was when you bought the bag? Was it kind bud or schwag?... could be a stupid question judging on how good that plat looks though...

Very nice indeed, enjoy the smoke when it time. If thats your 1st ever grow to take to harvest then I guarantee you that will be the best tasting weed you ever smoked just because you grew it

The seed was from a mixed bag of smoke a bit of this a bit of that thats why I havnt a clue what it is. Put the seed in a propigator and forgot aout it for about 10 days , one min nothing then it was there about 2 inches tall (you know how quick they shoot up) . Placed in the airing cupboard under 2 ,,50 watt halogeon bulbs,shot to about 2 foot tall in 2/3 weeks . built a wooden box with 1 air intake and 1 out ,75 watt sodium bulb and its been there since , only 1 problem the box wasnt big enough so a hole was cut in the bottom. The pot and about 8 inches of the stem are now sitting below the main box but still it kept growing about 1-2 inches a day, so I took 4 energy saving bulbs and placed them about 1/2 way down main cola think this may have worked its slowed its height growth down and the main cola is about as thick as a tennis ball and about 12 inches long.
At first it just smelt like skunk (really strong) stunk the whole house out, about 2 weeks into flower the scent changed ,now it just smells almost of lemon mixed with petrol or something im sure if i i smoked some id be off it for days smells dirty but oh so right ,sticky juicy fresh flowers . Its hard to say what it smells like (no it isnt it smells real good)
Soil is biobizz all mix ,contains peat moss ,spaghnumpeat ,worm casting perlite, pre-mix ec:2.4 ph 6.2-6.6 what ever that is.
Fed with biobizz bio-grow 8.0-2.0-6.0 4ml per ltr
flower with bio-bizz bio-blume 2.0-6.0-3.5 4ml per ltr
Water ph is around 5.8 she will drink about 1ltr every other day sometimes every 3rd day.
As ive said this is my first grow and I know nothing about all this . at the moment some of my bottom leaves are going yellow I know there is something it needs but im learning .This site helps me a lot but I think that all new growers need to start simple and work up , no way can we grow like some of the people on here but most of us think we can at first time of asking .Start slow and simple and try not to complicate things is the best way to go I think .
