A few questions I was hoping could be answered...
1. I have one 430w Hps light in a 3 1/2' X 3' X 2 1/2' closet with a fan for cooling it, the light is 2 3/4' above the plants, it that too close?
2. The areas average temperature is 77 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit, is that too hot?
3. The Autoflowering seeds I have are from my friends Auto AK-47 lowryder 2 X A diesel autoflowering strain, they are the first generation of his cross, and are planted in organic soil from a landscapers giant composted hill with an organic 5-3-3 plant food mixed in, there is no vermiculite in the soil and I wonder if it causes a problem with soil compaction, airaiton, water collection?
4. 10 sprouts are planted in solo cups filled with dirt, another 10 have yet to sprout, 5 of the sprouts are 2 weeks older and are growing 4th and 5th sets of true leaves, the soil has been quite wet in the bottoms of the cup because the amount of water used during transplanting, and they have thin stems and the leaves have a droop to them that is limp and soft looking, i wonder if the cup or water causes these problems.
5. My goal is to have a sea of green operation where I will be pollinating all the females to grow a seed stock to refine over the next summers growing season, and I want to know where to find good information about how to breed plants with disiarable genetic traits.
Any additional tips will be greatly appreciated!
