i had really high ph in my water and adjusted it to 6-6.2
i also suspected rootbound so i transplanted into bigger 8" pots
but they seem to be getting only worse... really pale looking leaves with dark spots on them, working its way upwards.

flowering day 21 (three days after transplant and ph adjustment)
light: 200W Envirolite red (6-7 inches from top)
nutes: Biobizz Bloom, TopMax, and AlgAMix
medium: 80% soil, 20% leca
temps: 22C/71F night, 27C/80F day
strain: nirvana top44
watering about every 4 days, nutes every other watering

help needed, it's crawling upwards and soon she will die!?

thanks for the url, but i'm still not sure.. i would like to hear your opinions as well, what the problem(s) could be and what could solve this?

i should also mention, i am growing in my closet, the only ventilation is a 92mm computer fan blowing right at the plants.

I'll guess... potassium deficiency. You might want to water with potassium nitrate a couple of waterings at 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water. Potassium nitrate is the ingredient in some stump removers. Dexol, greenlight, and grants are some brands but there are others. Just check the label. Be sure to adjust the ph of your fert water after mixing in the ferts. You should aim for about 6 ph. Did you add dolomite lime to your soil mixture? Too much cal mag could be the source of your problem along with a high ph "locking out" potassium.

Is this from seed? Is this the only plant?

Do you have holes in the bottom of the pot that you let water run out of each time you feed?

dude..looks like maganese difficancy..but mabye your under fertalising...the plant looks stretched to the shit to..can ya get it some more light??anyway heres some tips on the mag def..
Manganese gets locked out of Hydro and Soil less Mediums at ph levels of 2.0-4.5
Manganese is absorbed best in Hydro and Soil less Mediums at ph levels of 5.0-5.6 (Wouldn’t recommend having a ph over 6.5 in hydro and soil less mediums.) Best range for hydro and soil less mediums is 5.0 to 6.0. Anything out of the ranges listed will contribute to a manganese deficiency.
Solution to fixing a Manganese deficiency
Foliar feed with any chemical fertilizer containing Mn., or mix with water and water your plants with it. Any Chemical/Organic nutrients that have Manganese in them will fix a Manganese deficiency. (Only mixing at ½ strength when using chemical nutrients or it will cause nutrient burn!) Other nutrients that have Manganese in them are: Manganese chelate, Manganese carbonate, Manganese chloride, Manganese dioxide, Manganese oxide, Manganese sulfate, which are all fast absorption. Garden Manure, Greenssand are both good sources of manganese and are medium/ slow absorption.

yes it's from seed, and atm it's my only plant, which is why i'm so concerned.
my last smaller pots (about 6") had only very small holes at the bottom, didn't allow very much water to get through, this bigger pot has one big hole in the middle which allows the water to run out pretty good.

no.

I think the potassium nitrate would benefit your plant (aka stump remover). 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water. You might use this every fourth fert instead of your regular ferts containing phosphorus. This does not contain p.

Since you don't have dolomite lime in your soil, you can add calcium and magnesium to your regular ferts if they don't have them by using 1/4 teaspoon of both powdered gypsum and epsom salts per gallon of water. Add the epsom gypsum everytime without dolomite lime and no cal mag in your ferts and every third time with dol. lime in your soil and none in your regular ferts.

Like Dre is saying...your ph could be off. Directions for testing soil ph are in my signature below. You should adjust the ph of your fert water after mixing to about 6 using an acid or base. Things you can use from around town are in my signature below "how to make your own ph up and down".

ouch..

ouch..

flush with plain pH adjusted water...no more nutes!! :badday:

flush with a lot of pH adjusted water!!

you have more than one problem here...a thorough flush is definitely in order...

ease up on the nutes.

just how far away from the light is that plant? you said 6-7 inches, I never have seen a plant stretch that much its like a stick...

you need to flush out the soil I suspect you are way over ferting
