Hi,

My main question is how to grow 18 plants in a 4x6 ft area for best yield. SOG, SCROG, or other?
They are currently in 6 inch pots and are about 6" tall in a 4x4 flood tray (will add an extra 2x4 tray if necessary, but that hits the space limit).

Thanks for the input! : )

Well you will probably need bigger pots if you want higher yeild. SOG would work better than SCROG for that many plants but there is nothing stopping you from putting a screen or grid over top of your plants to train them out so the buds have better exposure to the light.

Thanks, rangergord. Will likely put into 10"/3gal pots soon. Don't think I can squeeze 18 12 inchers into the space.
They are Green Crack clones (hate that name), Sativa dominant. Currently under a T5 4 banger, 24/7. Will put under 2 1000 watt lights when the time comes.

It's looking pretty clean. 4x6 area you can fit 18 12'' pots in (its a total area of 18sqft potting space, right on top of each other, you have 24sqft of floor space with a 4x6 room. but if you are going to do a sog grow, that wont be as much of an issue as long as you trim properly and such.) But that cramped of a space might make the plants difficult to manage so take that into consideration as well. Good luck.

Nice little group shot of the gals....

My advice would be to fire up one of those 1k's in about a week because they are going to over grow the footprint of that T5's pretty quick, unless your trying to save cost on electric? In a week they will be double that size. If you have the big guns why not put them to use?

18 plants in 3gals in a 4 x 6 is going to crowd some but doable with enough ventilation and circulation

Thanks, its trypp, clean and orderly is name of game. Right, would like the 12 inch, but 10 inch a little easier to manage. Still have some time to decide...

Yer right, growsjoe1, power is some consideration, so also thinking that adding a second T5 would solve the size issue, as well as increase light footprint for future grows.
