First grow- Going into 5th week of flower outdoor (I think)

Hey guys!
So this is my first grow. Outdoor and in pots. I have an indoor set up that I am waiting to use but before jumping in head first I decided to get some practice using some bag seed I found in some top shelf bud! The only problem is I forgot which strains these are and they can be any combination of: Strawberry banana, red congolese, or golden pineapple. If any of you can help with identification please do let me know!

Also, I thought these looked pretty good until a friend of mine came over and said that they always look this crystallized when they're flowering and I could still potentially have booboo. Is that correct? Lol

On another note if you guys notice anything funny with my plants please let me know. Some of my leaves are yellowing and have odd patterns. Many of my stems have a red color on the half that sees the sun.

I believe I'm just finishing up the 4th week of flower and going into the 5th. I hope my buds get bigger as they look kind of small.
I'm using the emerald harvest line, and I have the botanicare calmag+ that I use sparingly because it also has N in it and I dont want to burn them.

Overall, this is totally fun!

Also, I may have gone a little overboard on the supercrop. I didn't find out about this technique until I hit flower so at 2 weeks of flower I bent the crap out of them which caused some stems to split but they seem to like it. Hope I didn't cause any problems.

Also, the plant on the left has way more trichomes than the right but it looks like the right one is starting to catch up.

Plants look good. Dont let your buddy get you down hehe

You've got a month or so till those are ripe, and they will get much bigger, in terms of flower size, so continue to take good care of them. A nice organic flowering food would be great for them. Use half strength at first to make sure they can take it. That small pot is extremely root bound, so I'm guessing you have to water every day or two. I'd do water, then food next time, then water, ect...your on the right path. Looking good

Good luck

Haha thank you!

I think the pots are 5 gallon. The pots were originally going to be used for the autoflowering seeds that I got for the indoor setup but then I decided to wait and just used what I had as far as pots.
To be honest I didn't expect much from these seeds at first and didn't think they would get this far outdoors or I would have got a bigger pot. I was thinking they'd be males actually LOL

I've been using the emerald harvest brand bloom A and B plus some other micronutrients.
I water every 3-4 days and they're liking that so far. Basically when the pot gets light.

I usually give about 2 1/2 - 3 gallons each when its watering time. For the nute watering I'll give half a gallon of ph'd water then the mixed water.
For the next watering its basically all water but sometimes I add a little of the calmag+ and potassium silicate. Maybe I should do just strictly water on that second feed?

You can, but it could set them back a few weeks due to shock. Not necessarily though.

I'd just let it ride and enjoy the harvest, take what you've learned, read the journals and threads from some folks here on icmag, and apply that experience and info to your indoor project.

Thank you.

After reading a bunch of stuff on here and elsewhere I think for sure next time I'm going with supersoil in 10 gallon pots. Organic is definitely the way to go!

So I tried to post in the infirmary but I couldn't so I'm going to post here lol.
I think I'm having an issue with my plants. I go out this morning and notice the tips of the leaves turning purple and some have little tiny burns.
I'll attach photos below. I thought that this was a phosphorous deficiency but I went to the local hydro store and the guy said to back off the nutes and give Microbe Life Plus C instead for a week. I got smooth talked and I bought it but I wanted to make sure it was ok to give my plants or if you guys think I shouldn't use it I won't lol.
The temps here are between 70-95 in the day and 50-70 at night usually so I was thinking a temperature induced lockout was happening.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Nice work, I wouldn't worry it looks normal for outdoor plants. I'd remove the dying leaves and the ones getting chewed. You have a thrippy mitey thing going on the last leaf, not a usually a problem outdoors. If you take clones and move them indoors they'll have to be treated otherwise they'll destroy your garden. And if you're using the same containers sanitize them.
Outdoors there's predators, wind, and temperature changes that slow the growth rate of pests. In a closed indoor environment there's no natural checks so they expand out of control.
The stuff the store guy sold you contains Phosphorous and nothing else. Expensive stuff, I would have gone with something containing K as well. I think it's way overpriced you could have got an all around PK bloom fertilizer for a similar price. If it was me I'd add a little molasses too.
I always do any bending, transplanting, or pruning before my plants start flowering. I want all the strength going to flowers not healing stem or growing roots. But not a big deal you've done a great job. Growing outdoors is amazing once you start it makes indoor growing seem silly. Awesome fun silliness but the sun is the best grow light you can buy.
Never underestimate the power of bag seed or seeds gifted from friends. Sometimes they suck but I've had them blow away expensive clones or purchased seeds.

Growing outdoors is sooo much fun I definitely agree!
I almost want to sell my setup. I paid about $1,000 for all of the indoor stuff including a 4x4 expandable gorilla tent that I haven't even touched lol. I might use the tent and fans for drying but then I would have "used" equipment.

Ahh I didn't know it had phosphorous at least that's good. He kept saying this stuff fixes any problems he's ever had so I thought I left with total snake oil but after all the talking he did I didn't just want to go "no thanks" and it was only $15 anyways. If its just phosphorous I'll add it to my next nute feed (emerald harvest bloom a, bloom b, emerald goddess, king kola, honey chome, and potassium silicate and now microbe life plus c) today is just ph'd water and I'll ph it a little higher than normal so 6.8-7.5 to help with phosphorous absorption.

I released lady bugs about 2 or 3 times on each plant which is why there's woodchips at the bases. They stick around a little while at a time so I was hoping they'd help out a bit with the thrippy mity thing. I also had some actual spiders but I think the ladybugs scared them away. I actually witnessed a spider running away from the ladies lol.

I accidentally squished some stems on purpose last night but didn't bend anything before I read your tip! Hope that last squeeze brings more potency but I'm done hurtin them! (Famous last words)

Thank you so much for the help! :thank you:

Also, I'm about to pot a soursop/guanabana tree that I've had potted indoors for about 2 years in a tiny pot. I think its strong enough to put outside now so hopefully my cannabis will welcome the new friend at the other side of the patio lol.

I've also been trying to give you guys reps on the posts that are helping me out but I think I'm too new since there's no button lol
