Hello! I germinated a few seeds from each of these packs on Feb. 19 (skunks were freebies). Approximately a month, one over-watering, and one feline attack (sigh) later, I am left with only one plant from each strain. I have a hankerin the skunk is a male and the BBxNL is a female, just by the way they look and smell, but I could be totally wrong in this assumption. The BBxNL smells like blueberries and chocolate, the skunk smells a little "citrusy" and not very appetizing.
Also, I've noticed in the past week they seem to be showing some little growths in between nodes. I'm not sure if they are pre-flowers or what, I will have to take pictures of them!
Unfortunately I have no pictures to share at the moment, but here is an idea of what my setup is like so far:
Have not been fertilized at all so far (I started them in Happy Frog soil, which has bat guano and a few other goodies in it...it does not give any kind of nutrient ratio, any idea if I should supplement it with anything or not?)
I'm using 1-gallon pots. One plant is approx. 6", the other 8". Should I transplant to 3-gallon pots? If not now, when?
I'm using a 400W MH, air-cooled with a Stanley blower. Temperature is a little high, an average of 85F I believe. Humidity is usually around 25-35.
I'm probably going to build a cabinet today. I was thinking of using either plywood or really thick particle board.
I germinated the rest of the skunk freebs a couple days ago, I was thinking about doing those just in case my beloved BBxNL was not a female. Plus I happen to love S#1 and would love to have some to smoke in a couple of months, it makes me sooooooo horrrrrrrrny (and goofy).
