Hi, this is my first grow ever. I've been lurking here for about 3 months now, slowly gathering info and materials. I've successfully grown a couple harvest's of cubensis and know the research that's required for such things. I'm a person who believes that anything can be done with near perfect results given enough research, planning and dedication. I now have everything for the grow I need, just a couple questions, the specs of setup are as follows.
2'Wx6'Lx5'H closet space, white poly walls
250w HPS w/ digital ballast
1-26w UVB CFL for later in flower
9" oscillating fan for air movement
3G grow bags
Earth Juice Amazon Bloom Soil/about 65%/35%, soil to perlite
Earth Juice Catalyst
GH Floranova Bloom
3-Flash Fem Speedy Gs, and 2-Short Stuff Fem Onyx, I wanted to stay with the stitch genetics as I've seen good results.
The closet is in my room, and it has no exit for an airway and I'm not cutting a hole in my door to accommodate. So I plan on leaving the closet door open/cracked during the day time for fresh air, smell really isn't a problem. The closet with the light on, and the door closed, stays at 77F and 25-30% RH, and tops out there as far as temperature. And I know its a big no-no to mix organic and chemical ferts but I didn't plan on using the Floranova much as I've heard the EJAB has a good amount of nutrients to hold the plant out to mid flower, maybe even all the way with an AF as all comments about it I've seen have been pertaining to regular strains, I haven't seen an AF grow done with EJAB.
My question is, will height be a problem with these strains, as I know Onyx can be a big one but I don't know in the ballpark how big they'll get given my conditions. I didn't know if my height limit(5') would be adequate for it or the Speedy G? I didn't really want to have to train or LST them, as this is my first grow and I didn't want to get in over my head and fuck it up, that will come later. I could order some different, smaller strains if need be. Or I can get some smaller bags, whichever is better, but I really like these strains.
