Hey guys been checking out your forum for a few weeks as I have been in the process of getting a litttle grow on the go. First timer so chose to go for a few autos, out of 7 planted I ended up with 4 which is okay. I am using coco with cana nutes at the moment but already feeling a move to NFT or something autowatering.
They are currently on about week 5 or 6 ( I think lol) and mostly looking good but they do have some issues like yellowing leaves and the top of one fell over under its own weight, any advice would be much appreciated :p:thank you:

Afew things i have noticed about autos over time.
Feed em lightly, there sensative.
Start the seeds in there final pot, autos seem to shoot out a taproot early and limiting its depth stunts height and yield.
Take it easy on the lights till they show sex, to much light to early will also stunt them. I like floros for this purpose , ideally in a cool blue spectrum.

Hey P@assw0rd yeah thinking my problems may have been slight over nuting along with under and over watering lol.

Still they are looking really gd now but I did remove a few dead leaves from 1 of the NL's today, took a pic if anyone has any clues.

Started bottom feeding the babies and even 1 of the NL to see if she can take being swapped to bottom feeding if so they will all be getting it as seems much less hassle and suits me better ^_^

How does it work with "regular" strains and autos in the same grow? I´ll be starting my second grow and I´m thinking along the same lines (DR and C99xWR).

I have 1000W to use (600+400) so maybe I should start them out with only one light?

The grow area is about 2x1.5m.

Autos perform well under 24/0 and 18/6 lighting from start to finish so a veg room is a great place for them so long as you can keep them from being shaded by larger non autos as they grow.

If the 400 is the smallest light you have you can use it just allow for a little extra room so they can stretch a bit.

P@ssword. I´ll be starting twenty plants, 15 AF and 5 regular. I´m thinkinhg of just starting all at once and then hoping for the best. A friende recommended 24/0 for 4 weeks an then switching to 12/12 this way vegging the non-Af´s while getting the Af´s sexed. I need a maximun yield here, It´ll need to see me over for some time.

Sorry for hujacking your thread camby.

I've also just put 3 GSC White Rhino, 1 C9 Jack33 and 2 Afghani Milk Reg seeds into germ last night.
Has anyone used Hesi nutes before and if so how did they do??
I can get a small package of them for £40 which is a fair bit cheaper than the canna range :)

Hey Piel no worries what medium are you planning to use?
I'm going coco hempy buckets ftw !

(pics will follow still uploading ha)

I´ll be using soil this time around as I´ve never tried anything else and this grow needs to produce -long story. A friend told me to use canna nutes in soil but I´m not so sure... Nice pics. Very.

I think Canna make soil nutes also but I always thought the gd thing about soil was being able to grow organicly using shit and stuff for some shtinky gd weed, never actualy grown in soil just had a quick browse through some of the info.

Thanks for compliment, im still no happy with the NL's though just look too sad ..
