hi

ive been using the forums as a guide and whenever i had a question ive found the answers, this place it great.

Im three weeks into flowering and i just want to keep on top of everything so i have a few stem/leaf questions and a bud question. And anything i write is what ive taken from what ive read, ive killed most house plants ive ever had so i never thought id actually get to the point of having flowers.

Litte background: a bagseed, assumed to be sativa dominant. growing in soil in a pot, near the equator dont have access to the fertilizers that i read about...ive been using homemade compost and once a month a small sprinkle of 10-10-10.

The bottom leaves as you can see have started yellowing, which i read can be nitrogen but can also be natural: is it too much?

Also some of the upper leaves are starting to have a small yellowing/browning at the tips.

the stems are a little red, (my battery died so i dont have a good picture of the stems, you can see on the right) again i read this can be genetics but could also be lacking in P or K.

I suppose all these question in summary: Nutrients generally ok and if not what would it seem to be lacking.

On to the buds. Two questions, first do they look ok/size/number of sites? and two, i had a hermie that i missed and before i knew it showed balls and i think one opened, are the reddish hairs a sign that there will be seeds or is it normal to start having red hairs at this point?

I can take more pictures if need be. Thanks a lot for any help!

For a sativa at only 3 weeks it's normal to have small buds at this stage of growth. Yes it's a nitrogen def. yes the red stem could also be a def. and I think the tip of you leafs are a mag def. overall your plant looks really healthy. Instead of sprinkling the food on top of the soil dissolve it in the water first and feed it more then once a month just a diluted ratio. That should get rid of the yellowing. add some Epsom salt in too it will help with the mag def. I would say you probably have a 11 weekeror longer on your hands so it's best to stop the
nitrogen probably around 7 or 8 weeks. Great jobs! like I said your plant look pretty healthy
