First autos... Advice wanted

Salute, I been away from growing for a good few years but a friend asking me for advice has given me the bug again so I'm dedicating some garden space.... Iv mainly done indoor hydro before and have never grown autos...... Here's what I have planned so far

Super Cali haze from short stuffin 11l pots with house garden bat mix amended with another 10% guano ..... And that's pretty much as far as Iv got. When do I give a flower booster and do I cut the doses due to the age of the plant. Am I right in assuming I can just forget about vegging nutes.

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated... G

Add a tad more perlite....grower's essential.

You add bloom nutrients, not full strength once they show sex.

Sounds like you veg mix might be a bit hot if you add extra guano.
This is the mix you're using?
•Formed from decomposed German Black and Baltic White peat
•Light and airy – roots love it!
•Contains perlite for excellent drainage and oxygenation
•Massively reduces the likelihood of encountering root rot
•Added lime to stabilize pH levels
•Enriched with Bat Guano for optimal plant nutrition

Be careful....no need during first month of it's journey.

Short Stuff Super Cali Haze is a great plant to grow, but keep in mind they take longer than normal AF varieties. So I believe you're a bit late for SCH this season or maybe not if your weather is fine until end october.
Maybe in a 11l pot she will flower faster, in my experience they take around 120-140 days(4-4,5 months) to properly finish.

Great tips so far thank you. Yeah I didn't realise how long school took or how big she will get before I bought them. I understand my mix may not be perfect but that's just me experimenting. I not added any extra guano yet and may not now. Esp if I'm gonna be using flower boosters. I was also thinking bigger pots may be an idea. Ps I forgot to mention they will be in a greenhouse

Don't go by the hype of yield, height. Too many times the info is exaggerated.

Try a few, see which ones you like or not. Have no expectations and you'll do fine!

Oh this is just a first run to get me back into it... like a refresher course while I get my plot built ready to go ham next year. Only three of my five have popped so I might put them in bigger pots, maybe 18''s. Taking into account my absence I'd be happy with an Oz to 2 per plant in 18's

Hey bro
Im usually starting to give them bloom booster when preflowers appeared(usually week 6 with autos) I never cut the dose until the final flush on the last week or two. I giveing them max strength of feed on the week before flush started than flush

OK this invokes more questions, forgive me if I sound stupid but I've always been a hydro guy. And even in an inert medium I don't even give half doses of nutes until I know what the girls I'm feeding can handle to prevent nute burn. So surely using a food rich medium I should be even more careful? Also on that note any inside tips as far as flushing goes or is it the same as say coco for instance....
Thanks again for all input

Are germ times/rates different at all with autos? They've been in for a week and no sign of popping as of yet. So with what koondense said about sch's flower length I went and got some lowryder #2 today just to cover my bases... how long should I wait before writing the first seeds off and putting the lowryders in.. it's been so long since I worked with seeds I can't remember how long germination took but I'm sure a week is long enough for a shoot to break the surface. I may be wrong.

Depends on several conditions....if seed is viable, no problems with heat. A week is a bit long.

Short stuff are sending me some replacements.... I think I'm gonna go with the lowryder #2 now though... may possibly save the sch for a run next year
