Finishing a plant with root rot

Hello I am at 45 days flowering and I got root rot and my mass of roots turned brown and easily were pulled off.I didnt get root rot because of high temps because my temps never got to 75.I accidentally overferted and noticed burnt tips and immediately changed out the bucket with a lighter nute solution and I guess slightly overferting could have killed my roots also..but its just a mystery at this point and im really frustrated. All of my fan leaves became yellow fast and fell off and even leaves on bud sites which are frosty are becoming yellow and falling off.

My main question is will the trichomes which are cloudy/clear still progress with the little energy/root mass available or are they going to say clear/cloudy now that most of my roots/leaves are dead???Should I just harvest this plant..or wait and give the small roots more time to develop.

I really dont want to harvest this premature bud right now but im looking for some good input because this is a stressful position im in and its almost feels like a waste of time.

edit: I cant upload pics right now but I will when I can.

Same thing happened to me  , I gave it some time and got a lil more weight out of it but it proly wasn't worth it. Once it gets to the point it stops growing I don't think it will kick back in.

Yea root rot really sucks...Im not worried about more weight.I just want the quality of the bud to be good enough so that it doesnt seem like im smoking beasters...Any more suggestions and opinons would be good and greatly appreciated. Basically im looking for someone who has experienced root rot before getting amber trichomes and still finished with amber.

I've had this happen to 2 plants.. One survived and recovered after a week or so, then flowered normally till the end, amber trics and whatnot.

Problem was, the leaves that hadn't fallen off eventually died prior to harvest, and by then, ,the buds had filled out so the leaves were stuck in there basically.

Worse, the dead leaves were a reddish-brown color so they were really noticeable in the end product. I guess they cooked in the light once they died. Too hard to remove them without messing up the buds. Easy to pull them out after hitting with a grinder or whatever, but kiss bag appeal goodbye if you gotta move these to anyone else.

The other plant died.. It was obvious too.. Overnight the plant just went completely limp, this was after it went through the leaf shedding phase.

So I believe your plant will resume normal flowering activities such as trichome production based on my experience, which is of course limited.

Hope that helps.. Sorry if this isn't well written - I'm high as hell right now LOL.
