Hey guys,
I'm growing indoors in soil and my baby is vegging away nicely, currently just in John Innes No2 Potting soil, with about 30% perlite mix. I ordered some 'bio bizz grow' which a friend recommended, and I have the proper measuring equipment to ensure that dosages are correct. However, my question pertains to where to go next.
When I move it to its final grow medium for flowering (in the largest pot), I want to make a good 'part soil' based mix. I have an allotment and have access to their shop which includes the likes of cheap bone/blood meal and mushroom compost (completely organic).
How does this sound for the grow medium?
1 or 2 part John Innes No3 soil (used previously in outdoor grow with good success)
1 part mushroom compost
1 part perlite
Any additional ferts required like the bone / blood meal?
These are readily available to me. I could buy other bits online but seeing as the allotment shop is down the road and a very cheap cash only affair, it makes sense to use it.
I've read the organic threads / sticky's but don't have ALL the ingredients right now to go full organic just yet, and I might do that next time round when I have more experience.
I'm open to suggestions
