Final flush and query regarding lighting schedule?

Hi folks,
I'm in the final week, starting to see more and more amber trichromes and I have just mixed up my final flush mixture. My question is whether I should change the light schedule (currently 12/12) over the final few days. I've read where some growers suggest 24 hrs of darkness to 48 hrs of darkness before chopping. I did try to search this topic and I've read through numerous diaries but i did not find a lot of information. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I recommend chopping after a dark period so that the starches and sugars are concentrated in the roots.

As for how long of one I can't say.

I've done none to 48 hours dark before chop in the past.

For what it's worth I chopped after 14 hours dark last time.
