Filter size for 4x4 tent

Want to get a Phresh 550cfm for a 4x4 tent, is that about right, is it overkill ? I was told I could use a 400cfm fan with that, is that a correct match ?

Your fan can be of equal or lesser airflow than the filter. A 550cfm rated filter with a 400cfm fan will be fine.

I like to oversize my filters. The consequence of buying a filter too large is spending extra money. The consequences of buying a filter too small could be much much worse.
