few questions about trichomes.

Hi gents, hope im posting this in the right section if not feel free to move it mods. I've been watching a lot of bubblemans channel on youtube lately of him making dry sift and he talks a lot about the wax membrane of the trichome head. Basically im curious as to whats it made of?
Also how thick is the membrane and does it contain any cannabinoids?(i wouldnt of thought so but it doesn't hurt to ask).
What would the weight ratio be of the wax membrane to the oil inside?
im guessing the capitate stalk contain cannabinoids as they're used for medibles, but nowhere near as much as the head?
And finally why do the stalks not fully melt same as the heads or do they?

Apologies if my questions seem a bit pointless but curiosity always gets the better of me lol.

Wax.
No Cannabinoids in it, stuck on it yes.
No sure, how thick.
Not sure, but if I extract a Kg of dry bud I get a lump of wax that looks like it could be 50 grams or more, I have not weighed it. Lots more then I would of thought.

Bubbleman has photos showing the heads melted away and the stalks not melting at all, it looks like worms.
That explains a lot....
