I recently double my cfl wattage to 250w, and in a moment of poor discipline, i found my 4 babs showing a few crispy dead leaves each, and undamaged ones having at least a very minor curl. The severity of dryness in the soil seemed to correlate to the damage incurred so Im going to chalk this one to underestimating the extra impact of another cfl, because the plants are all about 4-5cm with cooling on the canopy and lights. But is there a chance im growing them too close?
Also, is the lesser damage (a few millimetres in diameter, occasionally on the tip) on some leaves something the plant would recover from, or at least not be bad enough for me to eventually remove that leaf? I fear this may have stressed the plants a little hard. Its 3xIce fem and 1 NL fem from Nirvana, 3.5 weeks into veg, indoor soila. 1 Ice had previously lost the two first true leaves, so could this tip it to hermie?
As a side note, fuckin broke one of my original two 125w bulbs within minutes of unwrappin it, and it only dropped few inches. Damn they fragile. Tryin to make my all mistakes now though, but Im tryin to get a somewhat decent yield from this (told to aim for 0.5g a watt on first grows, so with this im expectin couple oz maybe)
