well first ? i have is i had saved 4-5oz of trim i was planning on making hash with but i decided i would rather make a batch of butter with it it has been frozen for about 2months is it still good for cooking or are the frozen trics to fragile?
2. i wanna know if i need to use dry material only as i am chopping very soon and would like to know if i would be able to throw the popcorn nugs and trim in my crockpot wet with the butter?
3. lastly if it is ok to use my frozen trim should i put it in the pot frozen/semi-defrosted/defrosted/or doesnt matter?
all input is appreciated

Hey Stoney, it is rarely a good idea to put anything frozen into something very hot, but I have not done it myself.

You need to preheat your herb anyway to activate the thc, I do 325 for ten minutes, and it increases potency as much as 50 percent.

I make cannamilk instead of butter, because I get off like gangbusters, and have less loss than I do with butter. Have fun with it.

thanks for the response i wasnt goinng to throw the frozen bud into the hot melted butter i was going to put it into a crockpot at the same time as the sticks of butter and heat on low at 2gether

Hey Stoney! Thanks for the props and glad to hear you're enjoying my recipes! I was handing out pieces of brownies and banana bread at 4:20, I'm sure more than a few people were couchlocked before long.. It's amazing how strong a small piece of that stuff can be! rofl

IMHO it won't really matter whether the herb is fresh or dried, frozen or otherwise. I feel that fresh would be best but frozen, dried or cured will still be effective. The more you can put in there, the better! I'll use about 8 ounces of bud & "sugar leaf" trimmings for every 3lbs of butter...and about a gallon or two of water. You've got the right idea, if it's frozen solid put it in when you add the sticks of butter and melt it all together in the hot water.

I've yet to "overcook" a batch of black out butter, so don't be afraid to leave it for a really long time. 5+ hours is not uncommon.

Also I have yet to try Cannamilk, I understand that it's potency can be incredible but I prefer the shelf life of butter. I might try a small batch of milk at some point, a dosed coffee might be a treat :jump:

but seriously che wheres the f lol u the chef of ic mag thankyou from everyone i gave some of ur food to i got nothing but shock and disbelief that "what did u do to me Never been this high ever!" and "u ruined my night and next day" from heavy smokers that r with me often they can hang. i cant give u any rep cause it says i have to spread it around but u got some commin cannamilk sounds great never tried it would love to.. drink alot of coffee over here. haps u make it the saame way as butter..but with milk no water? never even thought bout it. now that i am what if i make brownies with blackout butter and cannamilk. instead of milk lets see ima keep this thread alive with a nice show.
can i get a few pointers on cannamilk Haps thanks never tried it before

Hey Guys, I just pour the cannamilk into 3 oz plastic cups, freeze them then bag them the next day, thaw as needed.

I use 1-2 oz salad mix of sugar trim, small bud, broken bud, and older buds in a quart of whole milk, I preheat the herb to 325 for 10 minutes. The preheating is the key, it is how I define my edible experiences, before I did this, and after.

I cook for 1-2 hours, and try to avoid boiling, simmering is good. Strain, cool, freeze. Add water back into the herb and reheat, then repeat the straining process. I do 3-4 pressings, and mark the bags a,b,c, so I know the strength in that cup. I get 10 full strength hits and about 10 at the lesser concentrations, a one month supply m/l.

Always eat a small snack 15-20 minutes before taking edibles, this engages the liver so it does not reduce the thc digested. The milk works great because it is easy to digest.

I just took a shot mixed of cannamilk, green dragon, and canna olive oil, never tried this before, should be a trip, hehe.

whats up haps so if i understand u correctly ur suggestion that i put my trim and buds in the oven set to 325 for 10min or should i heat it up in the crockpot to 325 then add butter/milk im gonna make both the butter and milk this round going out 2 morrow to look for the biggest crockpot i can find

i smoke alot and have prob close to amillion roaches not little shit roaches either nice chunky roaches ne one ever try to cook with roach weed i know when i smoke it it gets me really stoned my only concern with using it is the way it may affect taste

Yeah, I heat a pan in the oven, then add the herb to it for tem min, might take longer with more herb. Roaches are gonna be nasty, I just toss em.

AND, it makes a huge stink, plan for that, we talking a 1975 concert level stinky.
