Feminized seed problem

Hi Everyone,
I've been having a problem with my feminized seeds self pollinating.
Due to the small size of my cab I've been putting them under 12/12 after only two weeks of veg. I read in Jorge Cervantes that one should wait for pre-flowers to show before putting under 12/12. Otherwise the plant may be too stressed and turn hermie. I will try this from now on but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and solved it this way? Anyone else ever hear of this? Thanks in advance for your kind attention. Best regards.

heatstress is the worst problem with hermies and root bound in pots also. might be these two problems causing the hermies.

Light leaks and letting the plant flower too long are also major causes of hermies. Only mature plants will produce flowers. Preflowers are a sign that your plant is mature. Another thing to look for is that the branches will start to alternate at the stem.

lst them and trim them to allow them to veg longer without getting to big if you think thats the problem. but at least you have more seeds now..

Yes, fem seeds is very common to hermie, a lot of breeders will let you know that in order to keep 100% female ratio's your growing skills and enviromenta;l conditions have to be well under control and not much stress... I always wait until plants have alternating nodes to be put into flowering when growed from seeds...... alternating nodes signifys they are mature and ready top flower; you can still put plants in flowering without them; but I have seen it causes less stress and quicker growing times, not to mention it saves a ton of time, cause if you transplanted it before flowering and it ends up being a male you wasted time/.soil or money.......

Thanks everyone. Guess I can't be too eager. Can't rush this stuff. I'll have to beef up my veg operations. Cheers!
