Feminised Vs Regular

So going to embark on my first grow soon, so im after a little advice.

I like the idea of feminised seeds as I have plant number restrictions, so having to double up to account for males doesn't seem to appealing. So I was leaning towards feminised seeds. But I've since read a few things and now understand that feminised seeds might not be as good as regular seeds in terms of vigour, potency, yield etc.

Is it a big deal really or is it negligible? Im not really sure what to think.

Can anyone enlighten me?

Nothing wrong with feminised stock. If you grow without
breeding intensions, just pull the trigger and place an order.

What wattage and lamp are you using?

Feminized seeds are just as good as regular seeds and better in the fact that you don't waste time growing out males.

Where did you read that they were not as good as regular seeds?

Well I can't remember exactly where I read it lol...I've been reading around online for a long time. But, it wouldn't have been so explicit.

Maybe I put two and two together... ie. I read that F1s have hybrid vigour. Any inbreeding removes the vigour, or so I understand. To get feminised seeds, by definition, they have to inbreed, right? So im just thinking that you'll never get that hybrid vigour from femed seeds.

I dunno. Lol.

I'll just go feminised. Easier it seems. And I'll be using a 1000w HPS.
