Fem'd Destroyer Smoke/Grow report

About 6 months ago, charlie very generously gifted me a five pack of fem'd destroyer and also a couple untested crosses. i have finished two of four females (one seed did not germinate), so this will be a work in progress until the last female is dried and tested. i found three phenos in my four seeds. the chrismas tree, the mini, and the vine.

Christmas Tree Pheno - if the name isn't enough, this pheno is branchy and generally cone shaped. very little leaf, as with all destroyers. i got two of these from my pack, one has been harvested and smoked already. i don't have a good comparison for the smell, but it is very much a sweet insense smell with sandlewood and hash in the background. this translates well into the taste, and though it's not overpowering it stays to the end of the joint or vapor bowl. very potent stuff.

Christmas Tree Pheno 2 - this is the winner. this lady endured more kinds of stress than i care to mention, and still came out top knotch. she also reminds me most of my lost mother. it's taste is something i've only incountered in import weed from long ago. though it is not the same, that is the only thing i have ever tasted that somewhat resembles this destroyers flavor. it is sweet and hashy, like pheno 1, but the incense is replaced with another flavor i can't describe.

The Mini - dwarf christmas tree pheno? looks just like the christmas tree pheno only mini (no stretch). this plant also auto flowered at about 2ft tall. no hermi or bannas from any of the destroyers actually. the auto flower may have be triggered by stress as these had to fight off spider mites and symphilids before being flowered out. posesses the same flavor christmas tree pheno 2, but with a more bit herbal spice. after a short cure it's potency almost rivials my keeper.

The Vine - ah well this plant wanted to be a christmas tree, but instead it put out long rubbery branches (could be tied in a knot without breaking) covered in seed pods and resin like i have never seen on a plant. all of the branches and even the main stem had resin glands thick on it. as there was nothing you could call a "bud" on this plant, but it was super rich in glands the whole plant was made into bubble hash. the hash smells strongly of homemade sandlewood soap. the taste is also very sandlewood, with a strong long lasting hash background. the effect is very awake, clean, and focused. definitely medical grade potency. there is no burnout and effects last 4-5 hours+

she didn't look much different at harvest. the pods were swollen to the size of extra large cannbis seeds, and coated in resin. no real bud formation to speak of, but she proved her worth in other ways. a very seriously ill patient of mine actually broke down into tears after smoking some of this hash, stating she hadn't felt this good in over 25 years. seriously tears me up knowing i didn't keep any clones from this plant, some of the finest medicine i have ever come accross.

sadly these were grown out in much less than ideal conditions. first, as mentioned above i had spider mites and syphlids during veg. :wallbash: this caused alot of stress as i tried to elminate them naturally, they just took over. then came the floramite spray and pyrithrum root soaks. then right after beating the bugs my a/c breaks forcing me to unseal my room during summer. however inspite of all these things happening destroyer did just what she has always done for me, produced huge yeilds of very high quality medicine. with the exception of the vine pheno, but it made up for it quanity and quality of hash. the winner for me is christmas tree pheno 2, reminds me of my lost destroyer mother a great deal. looks like she will produce some of the finest purple pot this planet has ever seen. purple has nothing to do with temps as the coldest it's gotten is 72 deg f. i have collected and reproduced clones of this special lady already. thank you again charlie. i will also report on the TSP (Pink Cola) females i have going if there is interest. charlie describes them as "TSP, fem, hard nugs, takes 10 weeks, can make pink or blue hairs. branchy, good yield, full of tiny trics. Its an old CBG spanish cut of Thai/Skunk used as mom and tried already in the past with Panama, now in fem. Mom was the blue haired mom I showed several times" i have one female about 3 weeks from harvest and another about to enter flower. i'm not sure if this is important, as it is an unreleased line.

this is the seed plant top cola from my lost destroyer mother. gives a better idea of what the strain is capable of in decent enviroment. once you dial them in, leg sized colas of the finest medicine on planet earth. this one is about 2 feet tall.

Thank to you Cannadestroyer for all descriptions. Hope you can save a mom again from those lots. Destroyer were off stock due but poor germination ratios, now again on stock. Trying to correct next fems due those few tricky ones

An yeap, the TSP is been worked yet. Is ThaiSkunk x Panama but we are still deciding which panaman hybrid will be put on the table...working also on India/Congo x Panama Fn3, Jamaica/Panama F3 or Deep Chunk/Panama.

Hope you manage to find good results anyhow

thanks again for your kindness
Best wishes

Hello Charlie,

I was wondering when and where to find the CannaBiogen lines listed below, are these only available via BOO? You had made mention of some JaPan being available a while back but I have not seen this released as of yet.

Cheers

aside from my own errors in judgement, breaking my rule about introducing new clones that didn't come from seed i planted. which results, as always in bugs attacking my garden. also the a/c breaking made for some heat stress and ~500ppm co2 instead of 1500ppm. inspite of all this stress all of my destroyers came out looking like a champ. i was really pissed for awhile that i didn't get to run them perfect, but then i realized most people have to deal with these types of issues as part of their daily grow. so even in a far from perfect enviroment, destroyer still produces more and better quallity medicine than 90% of strains currently available. in short, my deepest thanks go out to charlie for the work he put into this line. to everyone else, purchase this strain. it won't dissappoint. i have now tried both the standard and fem'd versions, both are excellent.

charlie - i selected one of the christmas tree phenos for a new mother. i havn't tried her yet, but she looks and smells like pure purple rocket fuel. i am looking forward to trying out some of the new strains. though it may be a bit before i get into anything new. i am attempting to setup a clone calender, so i can do some pollen chucking with a pack of 23w OT haze. i have a couple questions about these, but i will start another thread for that when it's time. TSP is doing very well also. the one i have a few weeks from harvest, looks to be right on description. huge yield, coated in tiny trichs, smell is coming in as a insense and skunk candy mix. yummy and ever developing in depth, i'll keep you posted on her progress. i have two more TSP about to enter flower, will report on those also when they finish.

RC Cola - i have a couple pictures kicking around, i'll upload them when i have a moment.

thanks again for kindness and info. Hope all problems get solved and you can run more nice grows.

That TSP os one of the 2 possible versions of it, more coloured indeed, lots of pinks around. They grow so easely indeed. Not much branchy, build up a nice cola. Well, we will see later

peace

I am thinking about it, maybe a way to release those different lots, maybe. Not everything can be released in catalogues although sometimes can be included into some Deluxe Mix lots. Am working on that.

About Panama Jam (Japan), still more breeding, we havent found they last key so still on it to see what we reach. The purple lady is not such dominant so needs some reinforce

Thanks for the feedback CannaDestroyer :)

Sounds like you have had fun with them, destroyer is without any doubt one of the best pure sativa hybrids in the market. Im glad you found interesting expressions in the fem line as well. Spider mites could be a pain when growing long flowering sats but hope the finished product worth the effort. dubi
