HI EVERYONE NEW GROWER HERE JUST STARTED FEMALE SEEDS 3 ICE 3 EASYBUD AND 1 SERIOUS SEEDS WHITE RUSSIAN.PLANTS ARE 10 DAYS FROM SEED IN 6INS SQUARE POTS FILLED WITH BIO BIZZ ALL MIX.AND FEED WITH 100MLS OF PH 6.3 WATER EVER THREE DAYS.HOPE I AM NOT OVER WATERNG AS I AM NEW TO THIS.IF ANYONE HAS ANY ADVISE..CHEERS ALZA... P.S THIS LIGHT HAS 4 55WATT BULBS & IS 12INS AWAY FROM PLANTS IS THIS TO FAR

They look really good but may start stretching if you dont get the lamps down closer.Those are flourescents right?I put my tube flo's nearly on top of my tops,1/2 to 1 inch away.I dont know how close you can get I've never seen 55W flo's but the closer you can get to the tops of the plants the better they will grow

I also have plants going about that size and just started feeding them 1 teaspoon 5-1-1 fish emulsion,if you use grow big or something similar you want to start with half strength

hi skeletor these are my female seeds ice.wr.ice back pots & easy bud front pots 14 days old dont think are growin to good growth seems slow. i have droped the light to 8ins above plants cheers alza..

I dunno man they look nice n healthy to me for 14 days. Give em a shot of half strength nutes and they should start taking off soon.

yoyre plants look very healthy, good job...water when needed by checking soil rather than just on a schedule...ive had good luck with female seeds too, you should document your grow in the fem seeds help desk area

I also use All-Mix and Bio-Bizz nutes...worked pretty well for me so far. Only thing I might recommend is you may want to buy some epsom salts to add some extra magnesium to your plants later on...that's one thing the Bio-Bizz nutes are lacking in my experience.

Just add maybe half a teaspoon of epsom salts to every gallon of water when they start showing a slight deficiency.

hi everyone here is plants at day 19.i was thinkin of putting them under my 400watt hps with adjusta wing shade with heat sheild how close can i put this light to seedlings thanx alza.....

yay ! under the hps they'll love it
40/45 cms high.put your hand under the lamp at the same height as the plants to feel the heat.If your hand feels warm after a minute it's too close

I wouldn't call them seedlings anymore man. You got some nice plants growing there.

I'm going to have to slightly disagree with deepbreath...you don't have to keep your light so far away that you feel no heat at all...that would be counter-productive.

You want to get it as close as possible so that you can hold your hand (palm facing down) at the top of the plant canopy. If you can leave it there for a minute without it becoming uncomfortable then it's ok.
Remember that the heat of the sun can be red hot on your skin some days and ganja plants don't just wither up and die.

I'd say at most leave it a foot away from your plants, but closer if you can get rid of the heat using a fan blowing at the bulb.

I've had my 600w around 10 inches away from a plant using a fan to blow the heat away from the reflector...although I did end up bleaching some of the top buds it wasn't due to the heat it was the intense lighting and not enough food/co2 to compensate.
