Female seeds or trash ?

I had a small light leak for a few days early in flower. Noticed a few small male flowers, mabye 4 . I've seen a few seeds , again mabye 4 . Will they be worth growing out or should I feed them to my birds ? thanks.....

hey ,, heres what i would do .. you have a great chance of having fem seeds ,, but ..i would taka a cutting ,, reveg it,, and see if it hermies again under no stress env.,, i would also lable the seeds ,, and hold them till you know for sure that the p1 or the plant that caused the seeds.. is not a hermi ,, now ,, if you have made sure after reveg and reflower and you see no hermie ,, then you have made what is called s1 seeds witch will be fem ..
when a plant is pollenated itself under stress or if another plant has pollenated it thats was a female that turned hermie .. then the chromosomes in the dna are altered ,, the will either contain the y chromo, or the x chromo , but 99 % of the time the once pure female will produce fem seeds , the hermi came from a female ,, means there are no x chromosome in the dna make up ,, or it is lacking the final dicesion makin chromosome that determines sex.. BUT IF YOU WANT TO KNOW IF THERE TRUE .. YOU MUST GROW OUT THE ORIGINAL PLANT TO SEE IF IT HERMS AGAIN ..

A small light leak a few days early in flower seems to say to "me" that you have a plant that IS suseptible to hermaphodism! This is NOT a good candidate for fem'd seeds!

The BEST way to get fem'd seeds is to stress the SHIZNIT out of a plant and when it DOES NOT show such tendencies, then apply an chemical/hormonal stimulant to FORCE the plant to make male flowers!

Seems (not so much now but last year) there is a misunderstanding out there that a hermaphodite is like hitting the lottery!! WOW!! Free fem'd seeds!!

If you have plenty of time and space you can grow them out and see for yourself what the outcome is..... I would rather use the time and space on something that you know will serve its purpose......

To me there is NOTHING worse than going through a grow cycle and having a mutant plant with as many male flowers as females polluting the hell out of your space....

THAT is the main reason I no longer even try Fem'd seeds that are not done by a "reputable" breeder... AND I try to limit the ones I do try!!

And REMEMBER one and all...... Fem'd seeds are for BUD ONLY!!! Please do not use Fem'd seeds as part of a breeding project!!
