These are some of my two favorite strains to grow outdoors. The critical sours are the farthest along in flowering and some will be done mid September. The easy sativas will be end of September.

I am only feeding them fox farms happy frog organic fertilizer. I give them a half cup every 2 weeks and amend into the top of the soil.

Harvest day for one of them will be in about 2-3 days. Going to be sunny here the next week so I want to let them dry out a bit from the rain yesterday. Only one little mold spot that I cut away on the critical sour. So I’m not worried.

I thought I would harvest 1 or 2 by now, but they still have some clear trichomes. So I am patiently waiting and letting them fatten up even more. They smell amazing!!

First one ready for harvest tomorrow or sunday. It was very hard to take a picture and get a steady focus lol. So this was the best I could do. Nice and cloudy with some amber.

Harvest time has started. Got a long way to go, this is going to be a ton of work to trim.
You kicked ass on this garden. I would give them more time if the conditions were good enough. I like my stems to turn a little yellow and not so green on my outdoor plants.

We got a bunch of rain last night so if the plants can survive the added weight and not mold I will let them go longer. More rain is predicted for tomorrow. Such a bummer to get rain this late and like a week or so before harvest for the other plants. I only harvested the top colas of one yesterday and left the other stuff to ripen on that plant.

Some pics after the rain storm after more staking and duct taping plants up. Pic 4 you can see the left over bottom buds to ripen up more. It is going to rain again tonight and tomorrow so pray for me!

Last pic is half of the plant I harvested yesterday.

After a rain go outside and shake the excess water off the plants. Don't let the water soak into the flowers for any period of time. Grab a hold of the main stem and gently but vigorously shake the rainwater off of the plants. Do it between rains to keep the plants safe.

I have done that about 10 times lol. It’s pouring rain right now and the plants are soaked and leaning over like no other. Looks like I will be taking a leaf blower to the buds when harvesting to get some of the water out of the buds.
