Female seeds C99, can you guess the pheno?

Hi all,

Does anyone know what phenotype of this C99 is and how long it flowers? It's from female seeds and in the middle of wk6 flowering. 1.7m tall (55cm before flowering) and I feel like it's way more hazey-growth looking than other C99 pictures I've seen in the forum. My grow plan was based on max 9wk but this seems like gonna go over 9wks.

I totally agree. I think c99 from female seed is not brothers grimm's c99 but their own made or smth like that. It does not look at all like what it is supposed to look like haha This one even has a polyploid mutated stem. 😂 At least it grows really vigorously such a strong plant!

The smell is like grape chewing gum but doesn't feel like grapefruit or pineapple. Hopefully, it's a good smoke in the end!

I only see flat stems in a particular part of an outdoor location I use. It's been said, that root disturbance can cause it. Mine will finish there, but others have pointed to problems I don't recall.

I would start again, and kick these out as soon as the replacements need the space. That will dry to nothing. I have been in a similar situation, and it span out to 16 weeks before I woke up to the fact I could of had another crop in that time. It's just not productive to wait for a plant that's so obviously wrong. You are no doubt wishing it will fill out, but it's just not that growth pattern.

I grow C'99 from FS from around 2011. I had seed packs almost every year. I noticed that plants from packages produced from 2017 have narrower leaves. Despite the look of the haze, do not expect the haze effect. High will be cheerful, warm - typical for C'99 from FS.

Does it take 6 months to flower and have stems that look like a car went over them?

:)

Now I'm even more curious how long this will take to finish. My gut feelings say it's gonna go over 9wk but not as long as 16wkers. Maybe 11~13?
All I wish, "to harvest at wk9" but let's see

i agree that it looks quite more narrow leaf and sativa growth structure than I associate with C99. Hope it’s a good one anyway. From the pics I could see going 4-5 more weeks fairly easily?

when I ran P88 it looked done at like ~45 days and I’d usually chop at ~50, maybe a hair longer

I don't know of anyway of identifying C-99 phenos other then by taste or smell but I did grow C-99 from Female seeds back in 2006 and below is pic of how it looked at day 59 of flower, just a few days before harvest. For whatever that's worth to you.

This is what it looked like at week 6 but I'm not sure if it's the same exact plant as in the shot above.

That's a gorgeous plant for sure. I feel like they got different parents. Mine looks way more sativa looking. But god damn it, ur one looks crazy so awesome!!!!

Female seeds describe their C99 as a cross between two sativa landraces and maybe that's the truth rather than a reproduction of brothers grimm's C99.
This one has vigorous grow, stretch x3 and polyploid stem with tiny red sap (doesn't bleed out tho) every place you cut.

Can't wait to see how it ends!

The one thing that was the most outstanding to me about that C-99 is that when dry sifted it yielded an amazing amount of resin like 3-4 times more then sifting the same volume of material of any other strain I ever grew.

As for yours, it does definitely look notably different then mine, as if somewhere between 2006 and whenever you bought yours, they changed the parent genetics. I don't know if they did that or not but I had 10 seeds and they all grew out exactly the same.

This seed purchase was from this summer. Well, it's been 15yrs since you bought the seeds, I guess they got different parents. If this somehow ends within 9.5wks, I would be pretty much happy with it. This one is a really good yielding plant.

Hopefully, this turns out to be good as much as ur C99, female seeds!

It's getting really close to the end of wk7 flowering. Now that I'm thinking, this might be really 16wk flowering plants. Thanks to some people input that it might be 16wk flowering plants, now I have a new view on this plant.

It looks extreme Sativa. It's truly a joy to grow. Especially, when I look at the huge bud!

I tried telling someone that didn't grow the original or f2s that female seeds version of c99 was definitely crossed with something, probably Jack if I had to guess, and worked from there.

Glad to see some consensus amongst a more respected group.
