Feeding schedule for autoflowering strains???

Is there anyone out in icmag world who can give us some insight on this matter? Do we go GROW from first sight of TRUE leaves all the way to harvest? or start with GROW, and in last few weeks use BLOOM? :tiphat:

each strain is slightly different, but I go from 10% in the first few days up to full strength grow by week 3 ( PBP). At week three or Four depending on strain etc, ill go 50% grow/ 50% bloom nutes. This is usually a two week process with the last week being 75% bloom/ 25% grow. After the two transition weeks its straight bloom nutes up until 1 week of finish then straight water. I would love to do a 2 week flush but have found they finish better and a little heavier if I don't flush that long.

I'm completely new to AFs but I would think you would just adjust the schedule to your strain's typical lifespan. Go really light the first week or 2. Heavier Grow for the next couple of weeks. Blend grow & bloom for a couple of weeks. Straight bloom for a couple of weeks. Then flush.

Just be sure to journal what you do this grow so you can improve on it for the next. Will probably take a couple of runs to dial everything in but that's pretty typical of any new strain. Good Luck! Keep us posted!

GO GNOMO!!!

GO GNOMO!!!

Im growing this strain right now too!! they are about 4 weeks old and between 5 inch tall (thats the runt) 16 inch (tallest) with most around a foot. I have given NO FOOD/NUTES yet. Just Fox Farms Happy Frog soil (2gallon grow bags) and R.O. water PH to 6.3 to 6.5.

mosess187 - Ill keep posting progress on this plant if you will too. You do what you think will work, and Ill do what I think will work and maybe we can come up with a feeding program for this strain based on repeating anything good we may do, and avoiding repeats of our F*** ups...lets hope there are no F ups.;)

i am new here and to auto flowering, i am growing an ak,ww and nycd strain, i am very new at this, but so far she is at 30 and a half inches tall, so far and almost 6 weeks old this sunday, i posted a few pictures from my cell on my profile, trouble is that some of the leaves on the bottom are drying out a little bit and i am worried that she maybe not getting enough of something or maybe this is normal? i will try to get the pictures of the leaves here but my cell does not pick up ever detail.. lol..
btw mosess187 love the smiley! lol anywho, just thought i would post here, as i said i am a newbee at this so if anyone has some advice on auto flowering i would gladly love the education/schooling.. this is my first baby.. peace.

sure thing ACBRACT, i'm really curious how this will turn out...i got a few tricks up my sleeve for this grow! LMAO never posted pics besides flower pics of the month, and been a member since 05'

AQUA- I say if this havent affected the rest of the plant then your bout ready to harvest...is this hydro or soil? its perfectly normally for plants to yellow up a bit during the last cycle of its life (Flower cycle) some people like to feed there plants nothing but water for the last few days or even up to a month!!(provides a very smooth smoke this way)....if i were you id invest in a pocket size lighted magnifing glass and pay close attention to your trich's this is by far the best way to judge peek ripeness..depending on what type of buzz u looking for energized buzz:20/80 couch lock 40/50-50/50 cloudy/clear bulbous trich's good luck!

Aquariansunite is a friend of mine, and the seed I gave her is the "Auto AK x WW x NYCD". This autoflowering plant is supposed to take 9 to 10 weeks start to finish. It was planted on March 21. It is an experimental test crop for a breeder who wants to stay un-named for the moment.

I dont think a magnifying glass will do it. I have a micro scope designed just for looking at the trichomes/crystals. When you or guitargrower420 think it might be ready cut off a small bud for me to look at under the scope and I will tell you if it is ready.

New thread! : test crop: Auto AK x WW x NYCD

Since this thread is supposed to be about feeding schedules for autos I have opened a new thread for the testing of this new strain - Auto AK x WW x NYCD. If any one has any tips, tricks, questions, suggestions, comments, advice, etc. please have a look and feel free to post.

PS does anyone know anything about leaves staying green and drying out? Perhaps over-watering?

if u mix some of ur growfert in with ur bloom occaisionally ,then ur foilage will stay greener longer into final bloom weeks, and ur blooms will enlarge also...ur roots will take more to water them though resulting in heavier harvest...give them more bloom time until leaves brown off fast, stop growfert/bloomfert and flush thru ur pot bottom a bit........let leaves brown and touch fall off easy,ur buds will have sucked them dry and final days are near.....if ur lighting isnt close then theyl take more weeks,and/or theyl not finish as big as they couldv.

....Theres a day in most...that as theyr blooming in well to end ,that the feeding schedule changes as they finish up fast or some dont. ---Some show all yellowing foilage and drink less daily until snip day. ---Some are heartier and greener and drink fully daily right up to snip day.---Others in between are just that...some yellow foilage dropping off and some big green foilage still going until snip day.
I flush them thru with 2-3day standing tapwater daily when 50% yellowing foilage is dropping earlier in some....snip a week or 10days later.

I usually don't feed them until they have developed a few sets of real leaves. They have enough stored in the cotyledons?? i think thats what they are called. Once they start turning yellow, that is about when the soil is running low and they are starting to go off their reserves.
