feeding question

hey ya'll. need some advice.

lowdown:

1000w
8x8 room
day temp 75f
night temp 70f

Sativas (don't know what kind)

healthy clones 25-30cm give or take on arrival.
transplanted into 2 gal pots second week dec.

potted into Suby's soil mix: (see Organic fanatic collective)
blood
bone
lime
kelp

Watered them in with plain ole h2o
they were bone dry in a few days.

so I Fed them with this tea:

2 gal tea:
1/2 tbls mollases
1/2 tbls ewc
1/2 tbls blood
1/2 tbls high P guano
1/2 tbls kelp
1/2 tbls epspom salt

They took very well to this weak tea, looking dark green and very healthy.
and they seem to love the lower temps. growing like crazy!

So here is where I need advice:

it's time to water again in a few days and I have this tea brewing:

4 gal water
2tbls of each:
mollases
ewc
blood
highP guano
epsom salts
kelp

I made this tea with 3 gal, then decided it was too strong and threw another gal of water in to dillute it, is this tea too strong for such young plants?
After this tea I am flipping to 12/12 I feel they are big enough now, they are growing very fast, I am weary of overfeeding and want to know if this tea is OK for their just before flower feeding.

Thanks in advance.

less is more. use your own judgement but always go on the light side, don't want to burn the ladies.

I think it would be on the safer side if you gave them the same dose one more time, and then when they get a little bigger, up the dosage a little bit.

as USER NAME said....don't wanna burn the ladies and you don't have to worry about UNDER feeding your plants you know?

Good Luck Brud :joint:

You should Feed every 3rd watering. S0 you Feed, Water Water, Feed. Your on your 1st water after 1st feeding...right? Water twice then you can feed full strength before you flower.

Dont over do it!

that's great thanks for the advice :joint:

"Your on your 1st water after 1st feeding...right? "- yes.

pretty much it's the same dosage as the first feeding since it's now diluted with another gallon, now I've read other peoples opinions and they say they feed, feed, water.

which is best? I guess it's all about personal judgement? other factors such as soil mix etc?

what about a simple ewc and mollases tea for every watering? is that over doing it? or is plain water the way to go?

this is all very overwhelming but I guess I'll get it dailed after the first go. or three.

thanks again I'll keep ya'll updated on these pretty ladies :joint:

O and one more thing........if I go with just water for this week instead of the tea, can I just let it bubble for another week or will it go bad or something>?

I like to hit mine hard with nitrogen when I go to 12/12. I've never had any ill effects from too much phosphorous or potasium. Nitrogen is what burns. The more nitrogen you can give them during the first two weeks of 12/12 the better. I keep feeding mine until I see a little leaf tip burn, then stay with that strength until after the stretch.
This is something you'll have to learn. That's why it's best to stick with one or two strains until you know how they like to be fed.
Good luck.

B1 is correct. I find the onset of 12/12 brings out the best in your plants. This, IMO, is where you can tell if you have your soil dialed in or not. This stage is their greatest growth time. They will double and triple their size trying to cram in as much growth for flower set they can. A large dose of N with a supplemented P is the best mix for this stage. If you want to increase their stretch a bit you can foliar feed with kelp. Once the flowers start to show lay off any foliar feeding.

Good growing, Von
