The ´cops´sat there and watched the cars come and go from a recent drug seizure? And they had no idea who they were.......ya right. Looks like local law enforcement screwed the feds.

The cops took it. They always do that kind of shit. They take drugs & property all the time in Cali. Been do it for years! Feds take pay offs to let it in the country so they can get paid to bust you with it here. They will always have a job that pays twice.

The article states that DEA is investigating the trafficking of drugs. Seems to me the best way to study the trafficking would be to let it get trafficked. They then could see how many people/vehicles a 1700 pound tractor trailor load gets divided into, as well as where these separate courriers dump their loads. This type of observation would reveal the cartel infrastructure most clearly. It's not like they could arrest more people in the long run if they allow the drugs to be distributed and hence in possession of more criminals. Looks like they might actually stop the criminal organization rather than the product which could be easily replaced.
