Favorite Colorado retail pot shops

Dear Tokers/Growers, We are visiting good friends in Colorado Springs and Winter Park. We will pass through Denver on the way north. Does anyone have a favorite retail shop in these locations that sell organic grown and flushed cannabis. Will be bringing a few samples of my stuff, but will definitely visit and buy some when there. Your suggestions are much appreciated, and I may buy some edibles too. Peace and respect.

OK here is the deal as it worked out for our Rocky Mountain trip. Empire Colorado shop had a nice selection of organic grown smoke and a wonderful woman behind the counter. I did feel that a $100 an eight and $190 for a quarter was too expensive, thus I just purchased some EdiPure Apple Drops. Ten drops at 10mg each for around $25 a bottle. We then drove into the city of Denver. Stopped by Mile High and purchased a quarter of an ounce for $109. I got an eight of Flo and a eight of 303 Kush. Thus the Denver shop charged one half for the same amount of cannabis. The take away is that the ski areas are charging premiums over what you will pay at a Denver shop. It was worth the trip into town. We also picked up some Golden Goat and Critical Mass, an eight each also for $109 for the combined quarter(7 grams total). Hope someone can use this advice and save some funds.

This is not a complaint about the Colorado ganja we purchased, but I was told twice that they only flushed for 2 weeks at the end of flower. I flushed my plants for 4 weeks on my last grow in organic soil. My weed(SSSDH by SC, strawberry bubba kush, bugglegumer,and white jones by ? ) does not make me hack the hell up when I toke them up. The Colorado weed on the other hand does make me hack the hell up on the tokes. I do believe longer flushes help, and organic soil makes a easier ganja to toke verses coco. I still like the idea of buying legal weed when I visit, mine just may be a little bit better and smoother.

Jeez...no wonder CO is raking in the taxes. Those prices are CrAzy. No wonder other states moving toward recreational.
