favorite bodhi male

I was wondering if anyone preferred crosses of Bodhi's to a certain male vs others. For example, has anyone grown both black lotus and dank Zappa? They both use the 86 UW black hashplant female, but one uses the 88g13/HP male, and the other uses the snow lotus. Or has anyone grown enough variety from his various males to have an opinion? I'm sure they all add something different to each cross.

I think the Appalachian & Snow Lotus males are no longer. If you want any of those crosses, get them while you can.

Yea, Appalachia male was lost a while back. Bodhi said he's close to retiring the Snow Lotus male.

I'm currently growing out Dank Zappa right now and looking for a keeper mom and dad out of the lot to start making crosses with. I have never grown nor have any intention of growing out the Black Lotus as I have so many other Bodhi crosses that I'm looking forward to.

Good to hear. I've got cherry hashplant and Hindu hashplant started. Both use the 88g13hp male.

I've got silver mountain and prayer tower with the appalation male.

And I've got solos stash, Buddhas hand, and black lotus with the snow lotus.

that's old but just in case.. do you know why is that?

hit alot of plants over a decade i am guessing, flavors of the month to old classics... varieties that are produced and reproduced generally dont "move" as fast i am guessing.
