Fast vegging, good yeilder

Looking for a plant that after 4 weeks vegged from clone will yeild 1lb + under a 1kw hps, i'm thinking Kali Mist can do it as it has a 80 day flower time anyone know of any shorter flowing strains you think could do it?

I think a plant like lowrider will do it faster. Haven't grown it though, but could imagine grown in a sog very close together (you'll have to remove the males after 20 days, since it doesn't clone yet)
I'd probably go for the mr.Nice Critical Mass. Think it will yeild a lot although it might take a couple of more days to finish off.

If you are willing to spend 28 days in veg and 80 days in flower, you have 108 days to play with. I would veg for 7-8 weeks to get the plant tall and strong and then flower for 7 1/2 to 8 weeks. I have had a couple of plants hit 1 pound per plant. One was AK-47. I gave it 56 days of veg and 53 days of flower and got 16 oz. using soil and 40 watts per sq. ft. of light. Another that beat it was an Afghan/Bullrider cross. It got 18 oz.

Both plants were 6 ft. tall. You haven't said what size you have to work with or whether it is soil or hydro.

With no restriction to plant numbers, you can get that weight with all most any strain if grown well. Even my Blueberry which is considered a small producer was able to produce a pound under 1 - 1000 watt HPS with about a four week veg from clone. I used 12 plants.

Are you talking 1 plant for each 1000 watt HPS? If so this would be a different matter. I don't think there are many people/strains that can yeild 1 pound under 1 - 1000 HPS in under a five week veg using only 1 plant. Some might claim they can, and they could be right. But out of all the grows I have seen, and some of these growers have put me to shame - I have never seen it.

I want to grow in dwc hydro, 1 pound+ per plant under 1kw hps. And i would really like to keep the flowering time down.

I was kinda planning on having 2, 4kw 8x8 rooms for flowering and one vegg room 4x4 with 1kw mh. I wanted to be able to harvest every month and get over 4lbs to do this the strain needs to bud in less than 60days. 4 plants in each room, with a total of 12.

Co2 is an option

You think train wreck could do it?

the skunk special x kodiak gold strain i made could do it....but i've only tested them outdoors but the stuff yielded huge....i didn't get them out until july and harvest 1lb per plant the first week of oct.....tastes good, looks good, smells good, and is pretty potent.

some peeps are testing them indoors soon.....if you've seen skunk specials yields just imagine them same kind of buds except being as hard as rocks.

it all depends on the strain and the set up.

u ever try any skunks? they veg fast and yield big....there's alot of strains that have good hybrid vigor also......most inbreed lines or elites veg real slow.

Biggest yeilder I have grown to date was my AK47. Usually I produce 2 pounds with each 1000 watt HPS using five plants per bulb. Veg is usually no longer than 6 weeks. That's my max, I wish I could do what your trying. I think it will be hard to find a plant to pull off your goal using only a 4 week veg. If you do it let us know. I guess if you put your mind too it you can do anything. Good luck!

Well i decided i'll just set it up to have 8 in vegg under the 1kh mh and vegg for 8 weeks and have half split down in incriments. This way i can choose more strains to grow from. I can't imagine keeping a plant alive for 4+ months in dwc though.
