Fascinating Moroccan Hashish Videos

I found this great video that illustrates why soap bar is around, it's a moroccan kif farmer, he had 4-5 bars of 'export' quality resin in his hand and he says 'people want this, its export quality, he doesn't explicitly say it, but he's saying it's crap and he only makes it cos people want it. Then he says 'film this, this is the best hashish - zero-zero, chocolate' and shows you this big bag of very pure looking kif, it looks very pure because it naturally sticks into large clumps. These Moroccan farmers can produce top quality but because we create a demand for the lowest quality shit then they sell us low quality shit. I imagine that if folks started turning their noses up at soap bar and demanding better quality, then we would soon see some really good quality moroccan for sale here, not zero-zero, but cetainly very good grade. Part 2: The farmer says kif has been in Morocco 824 years and it came from the Lebanon, Pakistan and Turkey, talks about how it is not drugs but medicine.

Part 3, the farmer expalins all about how he runs his business, he makes 30 to 40 kilos of top quality, then 15-12 kilos of 2nd quality and expalins that this is from a 2nd seiving and you get half as much second time round. It's funny watching his chickens eating the seeds from the huge piles of cannabis plants laid out to dry. It made me realise that if legalisation were to occur fair trade deals could be setup to source top quality direct from the farmers so the farmers receive a fair price and can afford to produce only quality - no more soap bar! Same way that existing fair trade coffee works, it would be wicked if you could walk into Oxfam and there next to the bars of fair trade chocolate and packets of fair trade coffee they had little blocks of far trade moroccan kif! lol One day it might happen! Then he says 'it's not a problem to get 400-500 kilos here cos here in ketama , a lot of people have a lot of hashish!'

Part 4: He shows us the best grade of kif, its sticks together in large clumps so little plant matter. Then second and third qualities that look more like sand and are darker in colour, then he shows us pressed bars of balck hashish that he says is third quality thinned down for business but he says 'if you smoke it it will blow your brain! This is dangerous hashish!'

What do they mean by "thinning it down for business." Like is there some kind of 'cut' that they're using for these soap bars?
